3.3 Mass fraction of indium is determined by the difference between the 100% and the sum of the normalized impurities.
3.4 indium supply in the form of ingots or pyramids with weight:
from 0.05 to 1 kg — for India brands Ин0000 and Ин000;
not exceeding 3 kg — other brands.
By agreement with the consumer allowed to supply India brand Ин0000 from 20 to 50 g.
Indium brand Ин000 put also in the form of ingots obtained by pulling according to Czochralski method, weight less than 2.5 kg.
At the request of consumers indium the brand Ин00 put in the form of bars with a diameter of 21−25 mm, length 50−70 mm and ingots of cylindrical shape with a length of 63−67 mm, with a diameter of 22−24 mm, or a length of 50−70 mm, with the diameter of 21−25 mm.
3.5 the Surface of ingots and pyramids must be free of foreign inclusions are allowed shrinkage and irregularities.
3.6 Each ingot India brands Ин00, Ин0 Ин2 sign and mark of the manufacturer, brand India and the batch number.
For India Ин0000 Ин000 brands and symbols, as well as the mass of the ingot and the date of manufacture indicated on the label.
3.7 Each ingot India brands Ин0000 and Ин000 Packed in a bag made of plastic film (the total weight of ingots India brand Ин0000 in one package for packaging from 20 to 50 g should not exceed 1 kg) and sealed. The ingot is packaged with a label placed in the package of polyethylene film and sealed.
Bars, pyramid bars India brands Ин00, Ин0 and Ин2 Packed in bags made of polyethylene film and sealed.
In each package put no more than two ingots or pyramids. Ingots and pyramids India brand Ин2 allowed to package in plastic wrap or waxed paper according to GOST 9569.
3.8 Packed indium is supplied in boxes of type I according to GOST 2991 or types I, II-1 and II-2 according to GOST 5959 and, if necessary, seal with cotton or another soft material.
Indium, intended for export, supplied in boxes of type I according to GOST 2991 with the additional requirements of GOST 24634 and is accompanied by documentation in accordance with the terms of the agreement (contract) between the enterprise and foreign trade organization or a foreign buyer.
The gross mass of the box should not exceed 35 kg.
3.9 Boxes with indium to form the packages in accordance with GOST 24597 on pallets types P2, P4 or 2П4 according to GOST 9078. Overall dimensions of the packages according to GOST 24597 should be no more than 1240x840x1350 mm. gross Weight of package must not exceed 1,25 t.
The boxes shall be sealed in accordance with the requirements of GOST 21650 steel tape according to GOST 3560 or wire according to GOST 3282.
3.10 Transport marking under GOST 14192.
Additional requirements of packaging and labeling can be set in the order agreed between manufacturer and user.
4 safety Requirements
Safety requirements when working with indium from the manufacturer and the consumer — technological documentation in accordance with GOST 12.3.002, GOST 3.1120.
5 acceptance Rules
Indium 5.1 apply to the acceptance of the parties. The weight of the batch is not limited. The party should consist of a metal one brand and feature a document about quality that contains:
— trademark or name of manufacturer and its trademark;
— the name of the product;
— brand India;
— the batch number;
— the number of seats in the party;
— chemical analysis;
the weight of the party;
— date of manufacture;
— the designation of this standard.
5.2 Checking the quality of the surface subjected each ingot, a pyramid or a rod.
5.3 To control the mass and chemical composition India from each lot select 30% of the ingots, pyramids, or rods.
In India brand Ин00 mass fraction of aluminum, magnesium, silver, arsenic, thallium, mercury and tin the manufacturer guarantees that the technology in the range of normalized parameters and determines periodically or at the request of the consumer.
In India brand Ин000 mass fraction of aluminum, bismuth, gallium, iron, cadmium, magnesium, manganese, selenium, sulphur, silver, tellurium, arsenic, mercury, tin, zinc, copper, lead and Nickel is determined periodically once in a quarter.
In India brand Ин0000 mass fraction of aluminum, bismuth, gallium, iron, cadmium, magnesium, manganese, selenium, sulphur, silver, tellurium, arsenic, mercury, zinc, thallium is determined periodically once in a quarter.
6 Methods to control
6.1 quality Control of the surface of each ingot, pyramid or rod is carried out visually, without the use of magnifying devices.
6.2 Chemical composition India of all brands is determined according to GOST 12645.0-GOST 12645.13.
Allowed to use other normative documents on methods of analysis if their accuracy is not inferior to the indicators stipulated by the applicable standards.
In case of disagreement, the evaluation of the chemical composition is carried out according to GOST 12645.0−12645.13.
6.3 each selected for control of the ingot, pyramid or bar take spot samples by removing small shavings from the edges of the ingot or the pyramids and the face parties the bars, cylindrical bars with a knife, made of titanium, tantalum or graphite. The mass of spot samples from each ingot, pyramid or rod shall be not less than 0.3% of the mass of the ingot, pyramid or a rod.
Place selection chips are carefully cleaned by scraping the top layer with a knife blade.
Chips, selected from all the bars and pyramids, cut into pieces of a size greater than 7 mm, are combined and mixed. The resulting merged sample reduce kvantovanie to obtain a laboratory sample weighing not less than 50 g.
The mass of laboratory sample India brand Ин0000 in the determination of impurities of copper, Nickel, lead, tin should be not less than 15 g.
6.4 On the manufacturer the India sample for chemical analysis allowed to select from molten metal during the filling melting into ingots, pyramids and rods. A sample is taken with a spoon made of fluoroplastic, titanium, graphite, and quartz in the beginning, middle and end of filling. The selection and preparation of samples is carried out by ensuring the representativeness of the sample received for analysis.
For the brand Ин0000 sample taken simultaneously with the vacuum filling of the metal the whole party to the probe, provided for in the design of the dispensing device. When filling the molten metal fills the sampler and kristallizuetsya trial ingot.
The surface of the test bars was then purified, as indicated in 6.3, after which the ingots are crushed. The resulting merged sample is thoroughly mixed and cut by kvantovanie to obtain a laboratory sample weighing not less than 50 g.
6.5 laboratory sample India is divided into two parts, one of which shredded with a knife into pieces of a size greater than 2 mm and transferred to the analysis indicating the product name, heat number and date of sampling.
Another part of the laboratory sample brands Ин0000, Ин000, Ин00, Ин0 placed in a plastic bag and labeled, and samples India brand Ин2 placed in a bag made of paraffined paper GOST 9569 or polyethylene film according to GOST 10354.
The sample is stored for three months to analyse if there are differences in chemical composition.
7 Transportation and storage
7.1 indium transporterowych by all kinds of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with the rules of cargo transportation applicable to transportation of this type, and postal parcels. Rail indium transporterowych small shipments (one cargo to another consignee) or in packaged form.
7.2 indium stored in closed premises in the manufacturer’s packaging without contact with a metal corrosive substances and dust.
8 manufacturer’s Warranty
8.1 the Manufacturer guarantees the quality of India to the requirements of this standard, under the conditions of transportation and storage prescribed by the standard.
8.2 Warranty period India in the manufacturer’s packaging 5 years.
Upon expiration of the warranty period prior to use, the products must be checked for compliance with the requirements of this standard.
