2.3. Maximum permissible concentration (MPC) of tellurium in workplace air is 0.01 mg/mГОСТ 17614-80 Теллур технический. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2)according to GOST 12.1.005.

Analysis of air environment of industrial premises for the maintenance of the tellurium must be conducted in accordance with the normative-technical documentation and schedule approved in the prescribed manner.

2.4. Production facilities and laboratories, which carried out the work with tellurium, must be equipped with ventilation system, providing content of tellurium in workplace air in accordance with the requirements of GOST 12.1.005.

2.5. Storage areas should be equipped with exhaust ventilation in accordance with GOST 12.4.021.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

2.6. (Deleted, Rev. N 1).

2.7. All working with tellurium should be provided with sanitary facilities and protective clothing in accordance with the rules approved in the established procedure in accordance with normative-technical documentation.

2.8. For respiratory protection must be used respirator type «Petal» according to GOST 12.4.028 or cotton-gauze bandage.

2.7, 2.8. (Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

2.9. Recycling, neutralization and disposal of waste from the production of tellurium is carried out in accordance with normative-technical documentation.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. Technical tellurium is accepted by the parties. The party should consist of tellurium of one brand, one type and one decorated by a quality document certifying the conformity of the product with the requirements of this standard including:

trademark or name of manufacturer and its trademark;

the name of the product and its brand;

batch number;

the results of the tests;

the weight of the party;

number of seats in the party;

the date of issue;

the designation of this standard.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).

3.2. To control the chemical composition, bulk density and particle size of powdered tellurium select at least 1 kg batch.

Bulk density of powdered tellurium is controlled by agreement between manufacturer and consumer.

3.3. To control the mass and chemical composition of tellurium ingot is taken 10% of the bars from the party.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

3.4. To control the chemical composition of the factory allowed the sampling of liquid tellurium during the flood.

3.5. In tellurium stamps t0 mass fraction of silver and tin is determined in each batch.

3.6. If unsatisfactory results of the analysis of at least one of the indicators of the test carried out on twice the number of samples taken from the same sample. The results of the analysis apply to the entire party.

3.5, 3.6. (Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. From each packing unit of powdered tellurium in a mechanical probe or a probe with a diameter of 20−25 mm sampled in three locations by submerging the probe or the probe the entire depth of the packing unit. Spot samples are combined, thoroughly mixed, reduce to a mass of 1 kg and sifted through a sieve with a mesh 1K according to GOST 6613. The sieved sample was stirred, reduced to 100 g, crushed, sieved through a sieve with a mesh 014К according to GOST 6613, and is divided into two parts. One part of the sample intended for the determination of chemical composition, the other is stored in a closed container for 3 months in case of disagreement in quality assessment.

4.2. Each ingot selected drill drilling with a diameter of 10−15 mm on top of 2/5 the depth of the ingot at three points located on the diagonal of the rectangular surface of the ingot in the center and at a distance of ¼ the length of the diagonal from the corners; the bottom 3/5 of the depth of the ingot in two points situated on the same diagonal at a distance of 1/3 the length of the diagonal from the corners. The wood chips are crushed, sieved through a sieve with a mesh 0355К according to GOST 6613, mix thoroughly and reduce to masses of 100 g of the Condensed sample is ground, sieved through a sieve with a mesh 014К according to GOST 6613, stirred, treated with a magnet and is divided into two parts. One part of the sample intended for the determination of chemical composition, the other is stored in a closed container for 3 months in case of disagreement in quality assessment.

4.3. Chemical composition of tellurium is determined according to GOST 9816.0 — GOST 9816.5.

Allowed other methods of analysis that are not inferior in accuracy to the standard. The differences in the evaluation of the chemical composition of the impurities in the technical tellurium used methods for 9816.0 GOST — GOST 9816.5.

4.2, 4.3. (Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

4.4. To determine the particle size of powdered tellurium take 0.5 kg from the combined sample and sieved through a sieve with a mesh according to GOST 6613.

4.5. To determine the bulk density of powdered tellurium from the integrated samples are taken by sample weighting 200−250 g. the Bulk density is determined by volutomitra Scott (damn.2).

Damn.2

4.5.1. A clean dry glass with smooth edges height of 40 mm and a diameter of 25 mm should be filled to the brim with water from a burette at ambient temperature (20±1) °C.

The amount of water in ml, consumed from the burette for filling, corresponds to the volume of glass in cmГОСТ 17614-80 Теллур технический. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2). The water was poured, the glass is dried, weighed on a technical scale accurate to 0.01 g and placed under the funnel of the device.

A portion of powder poured on the walls of the funnel from a height of about 20 mm for 10−12 s until the powder is completely fill the glass and you begin to sleep from it.

Not compacting the powder, remove the excess metal or glass plate, holding the edges of the glass; the glass is then weighed on a technical scale accurate to 0.01 g

4.5.2. Bulk density (ГОСТ 17614-80 Теллур технический. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2)), g/cmГОСТ 17614-80 Теллур технический. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2), is calculated by the formula

ГОСТ 17614-80 Теллур технический. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2),

where ГОСТ 17614-80 Теллур технический. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2)is the mass of the glass powder, g;

ГОСТ 17614-80 Теллур технический. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2) — weight of empty beaker, g;

ГОСТ 17614-80 Теллур технический. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2) — the volume of glass, cmГОСТ 17614-80 Теллур технический. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2).

For final result take an arithmetic average value of the results of two parallel measurements, the difference of which must not exceed 0.02 g/cmГОСТ 17614-80 Теллур технический. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2).
