Production
Steel 30X13 is a stainless heat-resistant alloy based on martensitic class iron. It is melted in an open electric arc furnace. The steel consists of chromium 12-14%, nickel - 0.6%, manganese and silicon - 0.8%, copper - 0.3%, titanium - 0.2%, carbon - 0.26-0.35%, thousands of percent of sulfur and phosphorus.
Flat-rolled sheets of this grade are produced by hot-rolled and cold-rolled method. Hot-rolled thick plate (4-160 mm) is produced according to the following GOST: 19 903-74 and 1577-93. Thin sheets (0.5 - 3.9 mm) - based on GOST

Hardening at t ° 1040 ° C is used for the production of medical instruments.
