1 The validity period of the technical conditions shall be extended until 01.01.2017.

2 Introductory part. The first paragraph should be stated as follows:

"These technical conditions apply to stripped or turned tubular blanks made of corrosion-resistant steel grade 12Kh12M1BFR-Sh (EP450-Sh), smelted by the electroslag remelting method."

Example of symbol. Replace:

- conventional designation for increased rolling accuracy "(B)" on "B1", "B" on "B1";

- GOST 2590-88 to GOST 2590-2006 - 2 times.

3 Point 1.2. Replace the conventional designation of the section "Ø" with the word "diameter".

4 Clause 1.3. Supplement with the following symbols: "(MD)" for measured length and "(KD)" for multiple length.

5 Clause 2.2. The first and second paragraphs shall be set out as follows:

"Pipe blanks with a diameter of 85 to 170 mm are supplied in a stripped or turned condition, blanks with a diameter of 70 mm are supplied without stripping or turning.

The surface roughness of a stripped or turned tubular blank Rz should not exceed 80 µm according to GOST 2789 or should correspond to standards agreed upon between the manufacturer and the consumer."

6 Clause 2.4. Replace the words: "supplier plant" with the word "manufacturer".

7 Clause 3.8. First paragraph. Replace the conventional designations of the section "ØШ" with the words: "diameter, side of a square".

These technical conditions apply to stripped tubular blanks made of 12Kh12M1BFR-Sh (EP450-Sh) steel, smelted by electroslag remelting. The technical level indicators laid down in the TU correspond to the first quality category.

Delivery of tubular blanks is carried out in accordance with the conditions 01-1874-62.

1. ASSORTMENT

1.1. The tubular blank is supplied with a diameter of 70 mm and 85-170 mm.

1.2. The maximum deviations in diameter and curvature of the stripped tubular blank must meet the requirements of GOST 2590-71.

Limit deviations and curvature for Ø70 mm in accordance with GOST 1133-71.

1.3. The tubular blank is supplied in measured or multiple lengths. When supplying blanks in measured or multiple lengths, the tolerance for the total length is plus 100 mm.

The diameter and length of the pipe blank are specified in the order.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. The chemical composition of steel must comply with the requirements of Table 1.

2.2. The workpiece with a diameter of 85-170 mm is supplied in a stripped condition, the workpiece with a diameter of 70 mm is supplied without stripping.

should not exceed Rz = 80 µm GOST 2789-73 for workpieces with a diameter of 85-170 mm or correspond to agreed standards.

The ends of the workpiece must be cut evenly and cleared of burrs.

The obliqueness of the end face should not exceed 5 mm for a workpiece with a diameter of 120 mm or less, and 7 mm for a workpiece larger than 120 mm.

It is permitted to supply a workpiece with centering holes, as well as with two centering holes on one end.

The outer surface of the blanks should not have any folds, kinks, cracks, rolled or unrolled contaminants, rolled or unrolled bubbles visible without the use of magnifying devices.

Local defects must be completely removed by flat cutting or grinding with an emery wheel. The depth of cutting or grinding must not exceed half the sum of the maximum deviations for a workpiece diameter of up to 140 mm, and for a workpiece of 140 mm or more - the sum of the maximum deviations, calculated from the nominal diameter of the workpiece. The width of the cutting or grinding must be at least six times its depth. No more than 3 grindings of maximum depth are allowed in one section. Individual small scratches, dents and other defects of mechanical origin are allowed without grinding, if their depth does not exceed 1 mm.

2.3. The forging force of the workpiece must be at least 4.0 for a diameter of up to 120 mm and at least 2.5 for a diameter over 120 mm.

2.4. It is permitted to supply the blank in an annealed condition according to the supplier plant's regime without hardness control.

2.5. The mechanical properties of steel are determined on longitudinal samples made from heat-treated blanks and must comply with the requirements of Table 2.

2.6. The macrostructure of the workpiece in the delivered condition must not have cracks, gas bubbles, subcrustal bubbles, crust folds, delaminations, traces of shrinkage cavities, or slag inclusions visible to the naked eye.

When checking a workpiece on a transverse macrotemplate, the following is allowed:

central porosity - no more than 1.0 points;

point heterogeneity - no more than 1.0 points;

liquation square - no more than 1.0 point.

Layered crystallization and increased etchability square are not a rejection feature.

2.7. The content of non-metallic inclusions in the metal of the pipe blank must not exceed the maximum score:

sulfides - no more than 1 point,

line oxides - no more than 1 point,

point oxides - no more than 2 points,

brittle silicates - no more than 2 points,

plastic silicates - no more than 1 point,

non-deformable silicates - no more than 1 point.

After delivery of at least 20 melts, the standards for non-metallic inclusions are clarified.

For a workpiece with a diameter of 150-170 mm, the results of non-metallic inclusion control are optional.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES AND TEST METHODS

3.1. General acceptance rules according to GOST 7566-81.

3.2. The tubular blank is presented for acceptance in batches consisting of blanks from the same heat and the same size.

3.3. The quality of the surface is checked without the use of magnifying devices. If necessary, bleaching is carried out.

3.4. The dimensions of the finished tubular blank are checked using measuring instruments that ensure the required measurement accuracy.

3.5. Sampling for chemical analysis is carried out in accordance with GOST 7565-81.

Chemical analysis is carried out according to GOST 12344-78, GOST 12345-80, GOST 12346-78, GOST 12347-77, GOST 12348-78, GOST 12350-78, GOST 12351-81, GOST 12352-81, GOST 12354-81, GOST 12360-82, GOST 12361-66 and GOST 20560-81 or other methods that ensure the accuracy of determination required by the standards.

3.6. The macrostructure is controlled on two etched transverse templates selected from two blanks in the supplied profile. If there is only one blank in the melt, the control is performed on one template.

Control of the macrostructure is carried out according to the methods and scales of GOST 10243-75.

3.7. Control of non-metallic inclusions is carried out on 6 samples from the melt according to the methodology and scales of GOST 1778-70 using the "Sh" method, option "Sh6".

3.8. Mechanical properties are tested on two samples from the melt, cut from a reforged blank ØSh 80-100 mm.

It is permitted to test mechanical properties on samples cut from the supplied profile up to Ø 100 mm.

Mechanical properties are determined at room temperature according to GOST 1497-73, at elevated temperatures according to GOST 9651-73.

Determination of long-term strength is carried out on 2 samples in accordance with GOST 10145-81.

4. MARKING, PACKAGING, DOCUMENTATION

4.1. Marking, packaging and documentation in accordance with GOST 7566-81.

5. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

5.1. Transportation and storage in accordance with GOST 7566-81.
