UNS N06002- Hastelloy X
Marketing general names of alloy: Hastelloy X ®, Microfer ® 4722, Nickelvac ® HX, Inconel ® HX, Altemp ® HX. This nickel-chrome-ferrum-molybdenum alloy has high corrosion resistance. It can be welded with any type of welding. Hastelloy X ® is used in making constructions of choke tube combustions, land-based gas turbines, jet engines; for rollers and air-fan in commercial furnaces.
Mill-products of this alloy are represented with the further types: rod, welded and seamless pipe, wire, plate, sheet, forging, capillary pipe. Alloy is capable of keeping a perfect corrosion resistance at a temperature up to 1200ºС.
Manufacture
Rod is made in a form of forging with a diameter not more than 150 mm. Sheet has a thickness 0.6 — 3.0 mm. The bigger sizes can be made to order. Coiled material is made in large-format sizes; its widths constitutes 600 mm and a widths of a plate is up to 75 mm. Seamless tube Hastelloy X can be rolled to a diameter of not more than 100 mm. Huge diameters can be made to order in a form of welded tube. All products (with a welded seam) undergo a method of nondestructive control with closed tolerances. A hot deformation is done at temperature 1175 °C.
