1.3. The chemical composition of the rods must correspond to that indicated in Table 3.
Table 3
Component name | Mass fractions, % |
Total impurities: iron, aluminum, molybdenum, silicon, no more than Lanthanum oxide Tungsten |

1.4. The color of the drawn rods should be from black to dark gray.
1.5. The surface of the rods must be free of cracks.
The presence of tarnish, plaque, film, oxides, burrs and traces of forging on the surface of the colors that do not take the diameter of the rod beyond the permissible deviations are not a rejection sign.
1.6. Packaging
1.6.1. The rods are packed into bundles weighing no more than 20 kg, which are tied in two places with twine in accordance with GOST 17308-88.

* ③ to p. 1.6.4 | Rods with a diameter of 1 to 1.5 mm may be rolled into coils and packed in boxes according to GOST 5959-80 type III with internal dimensions (400x400x120)+5 mm |
1.6.2. For each pack of rods, two passport-certificates must be issued indicating:
- the name or trademark of the manufacturer;
- name of product;
- diameter of rods;
- batch numbers;
- numbers of these technical conditions;
- mass of rods;
- release dates;
- quality control stamp;
- content of impurities;
- lanthanum oxide content.
1.6.3. Each pack of rods is supplied with one label, and the pack is packed in wrapping paper in accordance with GOST 8273-75.
1.6.4. Packs of rods packed in paper are placed in wooden boxes according to GOST 2991-85 type I with internal dimensions of (1200 x 60 x 60)+5 mm, (500 x 60 x 60)+5 mm or according to GOST 5959-80 type I with dimensions of (1200 x 55 x 60)+5 mm. The free volume of the box is filled with paper.
The packaging must prevent the rods from moving inside the box.
1.7. Marking
1.7.1. Boxes are marked in accordance with GOST 14192-77.
The marking must contain the inscriptions "be careful, fragile", "afraid of dampness", "do not tilt" or an image of the corresponding handling signs; the name of the customer company.
A second passport-certificate is glued to the box.

2. Acceptance rules
2.1. The rods are presented to the quality control department of the manufacturing plant in batches.
A batch is considered to be a quantity of rods of the same diameter, manufactured from one batch of rods and according to one technological regime.
2.2. The check for compliance with the requirements of clause 1.2 (dimensions) is carried out randomly on 10% of the batch.
In case of unsatisfactory results on at least one rod, a repeated check is carried out on a double number of rods. In case of unsatisfactory results on at least one rod, the batch is subject to complete rejection.
2.3. The manufacturer guarantees the compliance of the rods with the requirements of paragraph 1.3 (chemical composition) by monitoring the mass fractions of impurities in a sample taken from a large batch of powder, lanthanum oxide from the rods after welding. To conduct a control check of the chemical composition, a sample of 3 rods from a batch is taken from consumers. To do this, sections weighing 30-50 g are beaten off from both sides of the rods and ground in a mechanical mortar. The powder is treated with a magnet to remove iron and sifted manually through sieve No. 056-045 according to GOST 6613-86.
The sifted sample is placed in a plastic bag and the contents are mixed (averaged) by mechanical shaking for 5 minutes.
The sample is divided into 2 parts - a sample for testing (analysis) and a reserve. If the content of any component does not meet the requirements of paragraph 1.3, a sample of the same volume is taken again and analyzed for this parameter. If an unsatisfactory result is obtained,

As a result, the batch is rejected.
2.4. The rods are checked for compliance with the requirements of paragraphs 1.4 and 1.5 on a random basis on 10% of the batch. In case of unsatisfactory results, a double number of rods is taken. If unsatisfactory results are repeatedly obtained on at least one rod, the batch is subject to complete rejection.
3. Control methods
3.1. Compliance with the requirements of paragraph 1.2 (dimensions) is checked using a micrometer in accordance with GOST 6507-98, the length is measured using a ruler in accordance with GOST 427-75. It is permitted to use other types of devices, the measurement error of which does not exceed the requirements of GOST 8.051-81.
3.2. Control for compliance with the requirements of paragraph 1.3 is carried out as follows:
Determination of iron, aluminum, silicon, calcium, molybdenum is carried out according to GOST 14339.5-91.
Tungsten is determined by the difference between 100% and the sum of impurities without lanthanum oxide.
Determination of lanthanum oxide is carried out according to the method described in mandatory Appendix 1.
3.3. The rods are checked for compliance with the requirements of paragraphs 1.4 and 1.5 by inspecting their surface with the naked eye.
4. Transportation and storage
4.1. The rods are transported in the packaging specified in paragraph 1.6.4.

5.2. Guaranteed shelf life is 5 years.
⑦ After the expiration of the warranty storage period, the use of rods in production is permitted after checking for compliance with the requirements of the technical specifications.
