Requirements for stamping steel
In cold and hot condition, the manufacturability must be amenable to pressure and cutting treatment;
Hardness combined with high toughness;
Good hardenability: must have homogeneous high hardness, homogeneous fine crystalline structure in depth;
Insignificant deformation during heat treatment;
Low sensitivity to overheating: must harden in a fairly large temperature range;
Good polishability and grindability - determines the standard of surface quality of products when stamping;
Negligible sensitivity to decarburization during heat treatment, which reduces the hardness of the surface working layer.
