3 Terms and definitions

This standard applies the terminology according to GOST 17527, as well as the following terms with respective definitions:

3.1 ingot: mass of crystals this way the metal melt of a certain geometric shape and mass.

3.7 risk: the Defect of the surface in the form of narrow longitudinal recesses with rounded or flat bottom, formed by scratching the surface of the metal protrusions on the surface of equipment.
