Technical characteristics
Nickel-chromium alloy of HN50WTJUBK grade relates to a high-alloyed heat-resisting mill-products. It is used in manufacture of connectors, heavy loaded details, flanges, details for aerotechnics (disks, gas turbine blades, etc.), flat product detals for limited operating life at a temperature of <+950°С.
Alloying
Alloying produces multidimensional effect on a steels quality. Chrome increases hardness and resistant to corrosion. Nickel confers plasticity; wolframium confers hardness, red-hardness. Vanadium increases strength, resistance to impact loads and wipe out; cobalt raises heat-resistance, magnetic permeability. Molybdenum confers red-hardness, strength, resistance to corrosion at a high temperature. When a quantity of mangan is more than 1%, it increases impact index and wearing qualities. Titanium increases stability, corrosive resistance; aluminium raises resistance to oxide scale formation; niobium increases resistance in acid environment. Cuprum raises plasticity, prevents an action of rust. Extra-qualitative steel contains borium, zirconium, selenium, nitrogen except for above-said components.

Forging temperature: 1170°C- at the beginning, 850°C- in the end. Cooling is done in air.
It is used in the capacity of heat-resisting steel.
Metal-cutting is done at НВ 269, σV=951 MPa in a heat treated condition.
An intensive oxide scale formation begins at a temperature of 850−955°C.
Operational period is long-sustained.
Recommended operating temperature is 650 °C.
Welding of actual steel is hard. Type of welding: hand arc-welding with a help of electrodes KTI-762. Further heat treatment is recommended for releasing of welding stresses.
