Relevance
Stainless bar is a product made of high-alloyed steel with round cross-section of different diameter. It differs with strength, long operational life, heat resistance, resistance to effect of aggressive environment, adverse effect of atmospheric and soil moisture. It can be manufactured by cold-rolling or hot-rolling methods. It can resist corrosion in the most rigorous technological conditions.
Classification
On a basis of existing standards, bar can be divided to cold-drawn, clad-rolled and hot-rolled. The last one has a dark color. If necessary, surface can be additionally processed (with silver-steel). By accuracy of rolling, there are distinguished high class, super-high, special accuracy. A length can be random, specified or multiple to specific.
Steel grades
There are used such grades in manufacture: X10CrNiMoTi18−12, X12CrNi25−21, X12CrNiTi18−10, X22CrNi17, X46Cr13, X6CrNiTi18−10, X20Cr13. Bars made of stainless steel of grade X12CrNiTi18−10 are widely applied by paper, textile, pharmaceutical, food, chemical industries.
Application
