Technical characteristics
The 08Cr17T steel grade is similar to the domestic 12Cr17 steel grade. But the low concentration of carbon in steel at the level of 0,020-0,035% ensures at elevated temperatures the absence of susceptibility to intergranular corrosion (intensive carbide formation begins at temperatures above 1000 ° C), in addition, it provides excellent weldability.
