These technical conditions apply to the supply of hot-rolled and forged rods made of heat-resistant alloy grade KhN70Yu (EI652).
1. Assortment
1.1. The alloy is supplied in rods of the following sizes:
a) hot-rolled with a diameter from 20 mm to 38 mm with permissible deviations in diameter in accordance with GOST 2590-71, taking into account note 2 to Table 1.
b) forged with a diameter from 40 mm to 100 mm with tolerances according to GOST 1133-71.
Length of rods according to GOST 2590-71 and 1133-71.
2. Technical requirements
2.1. The chemical composition of the alloy ХН70Ю (ЭИ652) must comply with GOST 5632-72.
2.2. The rods are supplied without heat treatment.
2.3. The mechanical properties of the alloy, determined on heat-treated samples at room temperature and at a temperature of 900ºС, must satisfy the requirements of Table 1.

2.4. The long-term strength of the alloy is controlled at a temperature of 900ºС, a constantly applied stress of 3 kgf/ mm2 , and a time to failure of at least 100 hours.
2.5. The surface quality and macrostructure of the rods must comply with the requirements of GOST 5949-61, and from 1.01.77 - GOST 5949-75.

3.1. Acceptance rules, testing methods in accordance with GOST 5949-61, and from 1.01.77 - GOST 5949-75.
3.2. The long-term strength test is carried out according to GOST 10145-62.
4. Packaging, labeling and documentation.
4.1. Packaging, marking and documentation in accordance with GOST 7566-69.
