Advantages

Bronze plate possesses high level of strength, elasticity, plasticity, forgeability. Bronze plate can be perfectly exposed to any machining treatment including cutting, stamping, drilling. It also possesses resistant to corrosion, to action of atmospheric moisture and sea water. Extra consistent and resistant to corrosion plate is made of beryllium copper of grade Cu2Be (0.2−0.5 nickel alloyed). Its advantages can be also improved by an additional heat treatment. Bronze plate is non-magnetic, but at the same time it greatly conducts heat and electric current. High reliability, durability in combination with its relatively low cost make it popular in many spheres of national economy.

Manufacture of bronze plate

Put it bluntly, bronze plate is a semi-fabricate that has rectangular shape with a thickness of more than 25 mm. It can be made out of various alloys (mostly Cu1Cr, Mn2Ni, Co5SiCr, CuCr1Zr) with a help of casting method according to GOST 18 175, TC 48−21−779−85.

Application
