Production
Nickel-based alloys obtain enhanced heat resistance not only through multicomponent alloying, but also through subsequent heat treatment. Highly alloyed steels contain more than 10% of alloying elements. For example the alloy 20Х20Н14С2 has in its composition 12−15% nickel and 19−22% chromium. Manganese up to 1.5%, copper 0.3%, silicon 2−3%, carbon and titanium 0.2%, sulfur, and phosphorus are added to the blend as additives.
