1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1.1. General requirements for method of analysis and security requirements — according to GOST and GOST 12645.0 22306.

2. APPARATUS, REAGENTS AND MATERIALS

The quartz spectrograph medium dispersion of any type with being an illumination system of the slit.

Arc generator of alternating current.

A constant current source providing a voltage of at least 200 V and a current not less than 20 A.

Microphotometer designed to measure pucherani spectral lines.

Libra torsion bar type W with a weighing error of no more than 0.001 g.

Analytical scale with a weighing error of no more than 0,0002 g.

Electrodes, carbon, 6 mm in diameter with a crater size 4x10 mm.

Photographic plates of the spectral spectrographic types SFC-03, PFS-04 or NT-2 SV.

Standard samples to construct calibration curve developed in accordance with GOST 8.315*.

3. ANALYSIS

Determination of cadmium is carried out on the quartz spectrograph medium dispersion being a condenser. The slot width of 0.015 mm. the Weight of the portion of the sample or standard sample (100 mg) in the form of metal pieces placed in the hole of the lower carbon electrode with a depth of 10 mm and a diameter of 4 mm and thoroughly compacted with a kick ball made of organic glass.
