These technical conditions apply to mixtures of tungsten, titanium-tungsten and titanium-tantalum-tungsten for the manufacture of carbide products.
1. Technical requirements
1.1. The content of the main components in the mixture of powders and the physical and mechanical properties of sintered control samples prepared from the mixtures must comply with the requirements of GOST 3882−74 or specified in table. 1.

1.2. By agreement of the parties, mixtures can be supplied with the determination of the content of cobalt, carbon, (free and total), oxygen, iron. The norms for the content of these components and impurities must comply with TU 48−1U-10.4−73 or given in table. 2

1.3. The physical and mechanical properties of control samples prepared from mixtures of brands certified by the State Quality Mark must comply with the requirements specified in table. 3.

1.4. Control samples made from mixtures, when tested for cutting, must have resistance standards corresponding to OST 48−99−76.
Resistance standards for mixtures of brands certified by the State Quality Mark must not be lower:
I. mixture VK4 — 1.2
II. mixture VK6 — 1.2
III. mixture VK8 — 1.2
IV. mixture T5K10 — 1.6
V. T14K8 mixture — 1.35
