CW617N — CZ122 is an alloy of nickel-plated brass. Material mainly consists of copper (58%), zinc (30%), and lead additive (2%), which is evenly distributed in microstructure. Chemical formula of alloy is CuZn40Pb2. This alloy is made according to EN 12165.

Manufacturing peculiarities:
Range of working temperatures is 650−775°C;
Formability in hot state is perfect.
Formability in cold state is bad.
Annealing is possible at a temperature range of 450−600°C.
Release of stress is performed at a temperature range of 250−350°C.
This alloy demonstrates perfect availability to hot working. It is often used in manufacture of complex details. Analogous material for flat products is CW608N / CZ120.
