C61400 is aluminium bronze alloy, which relates to bronze mill-products of European alloys. It possesses good corrosive resistance. Aluminium, which is present in a composition, heightens strength-to-density ratio. Preferential welding methods: shielded arc welding, covered arc welding, spot welding, seam welding. Brazing, oxyacetylene welding are not used for this bronze alloy nowadays. Forging can be manufactured at a temperature of 787−926°C.
Chemical composition of alloy: Cu — (91%), Al — (7.0%), Fe — (1.5−3.5%), Mn — (1.0%), Zn — (0.2%), P — (0.015%), Pb — (0.1%), residual elements — (0,5%).
