47ND alloy relates to precision alloys with a defined linear expansion thermal coefficient (TCLEx1000000 at a temperature range -70 +440ºC not higher than 9−11 [1/ºC]). Used in making springs, hermetically sealed contacts reed relay, joining with mica and ceramics, junction with a soft glass.
This precision alloy possesses unique physical, mechanical characteristics (magnetic, elastic, heating, electrical etc.) Precision alloys differ with an accuracy of chemical composition, a preciseness of manufacture and processing, and absence of residual elements. They are the high-doped alloys. Precision alloys are manufactured on a basis of iron, nickel, copper, niobium, cobalt. A temperature of melting is 1450 °C.
