C51000 is phosphorus bronze alloy, which relates to European bronze mill-products. Phosphorous bronze alloy has excellent combination of plasticity and strength. Addition of phosphorus leads to increasing of wearing quality, fatigue resistance, hardness. This allows using such bronze for fasteners, valves, masonry fixtures, bearings, springs, gears.
Chemical composition: Сu-95%, Sn-5%, P — residual elements.

Copper alloy C51000 is annealed at a temperature of 482 — 677 °C (900 — 1250°F). C51000 possesses excellent cold deformability. Alloy is badly exposed to hot stamping. Welding processes that are suitable for copper alloy C51000 include brazing, butt-seam welding, seam welding, welding, autogenous coated-metal arc welding, spot welding.
