Manufacture

Sheet, foil, strip of X10CrAl24, aisi 446 grade is products of stainless metal-roll. They are made of heat-resisting alloy. According to GOST 5632−72 and technical conditions, it is composed of 24−27% of chrome, 0.8% of manganese, up to 1% of silicon, 0.15% of carbon, 0.5−0.9% of titanium and thousand parts of percent of sulfur and phosphorus. An alloying produces a multidimensional effect on a steels quality. Manufacture of steel is done in open arc furnace. This guarantees a minimum quantity of unnecessary residual elements.

Classification

Flat products are classified by edge type, evenness and manufacturing accuracy level. Evenness falls under such categories as special, improved, standard and high. An accuracy falls under increased and standard categories. An edge falls under sheared and mill types.

Processing

Plastic deformation is performed in temperature range of 1100 °C at the beginning and 800 °C at the end. According to a first pattern, there must be done a cooling in water, in oil, or in air. During a second pattern, a cooling is done with a help of water with further holding of products (4 — 4.5 hours). Temperature of hardening is 1050 — 1150 °C. It is performed in air. Welding is done by electric-arc method. Electrodes of grade OZL-35, OZL-25 are used in manual electric-arc welding
