Examples of symbols:
Tape 0.50 mm thick, 400 mm wide, cold-worked (N), increased manufacturing accuracy (PT), with unedged edge (NO), made of steel grade 08X15N5D2T-Sh (EP410-Sh, VNS2-Sh), the second group of surface class B (2B):
Tape 0.50x400-N-PT-NO-08X15N5D2T-Sh (EP410-Sh, VNS2-Sh) -2V TU 14−1-3577−2016.
Ribbon 0.60 mm thick, 250 mm wide, soft (M), normal manufacturing accuracy (NT), with a cut edge (O), with heat treatment of samples according to mode 2, made of steel grade 08Kh15N5D2T-Sh (EP410-Sh, VNS2 -Sh):
Tape 0.60x250-M-NT-O-2−08X15N5D2T-Sh (EP410-Sh, VNS2-Sh) TU 14−1-3577−2016.

The list of normative documents (ND), which are referenced in the text of the technical specifications, is given in Appendix A.

Steel grade and strip codes are given in Appendix B.

1. Range

1.1. The tape is made with a thickness of 0.30 to 1.20 mm, inclusive, and a width of 100 to 400 mm, inclusive.

The thickness of the tape, maximum deviations in thickness and width must comply with the requirements of GOST 4986.

Heat-treated, soft tape (M) is supplied with normal manufacturing accuracy (NT), cold-worked tape (N) — with increased manufacturing accuracy (PT).

1.2. The tape is made with an edged (O) or unedged (BUT) edge.

1.3. The tape is supplied in rolls or in rolls of welded rolled stock.

When a strip is supplied from a welded strip, the weld seam is not a rejection feature and is noted on one side with a strip thickness of more than 0.3 mm.

C.3
TU-14−1-3577−2016

1.4. The deviation from flatness on a piece of tape with a length of 1 m must correspond to table 1.

Table 1

In millimeters
Belt thickness Deviation from flatness, no more
for soft tape for cold-worked tape
0.30 to 0.50 incl. thirty 12
Over 0.50 to 1.20 incl. 20 20

2. Technical requirements

2.1. The chemical composition of steel grade 08Kh15N5D2T-Sh (EP410-Sh, VNS2-Sh) according to the ladle sample must correspond to that indicated in Table 2.

table 2

0.08 0.70 0.70 0.018 0.020

2.1.1. The following deviations from the mass fraction of chemical elements are allowed in the finished product: for manganese, silicon and copper — plus 0.10% of each element, for chromium — 0.50% minutes, for nickel — plus 0.20%, for phosphorus — plus 0.005%; for other elements — in accordance with GOST 5632.

2.1.2. Mass fraction of residual elements — in accordance with GOST 5632.

2.2. The tape is supplied in a heat-treated soft (M) state without tempering or cold-worked (H) state. Delivery status is specified in the order.

2.2.1. Recommended heat treatment mode for tape:

— normalization from temperature (950−975) ° С,

— vacation at a temperature of (200−350) ° С, exposure for 8 hours.

If the mechanical properties meet the requirements of Table 3, after normalization, tempering at a temperature of (200−350) ° C is allowed not to be carried out.

2.2.2. When the tape is delivered in a cold worked state, normalization from a temperature of (950−975) ° C is carried out before the cold working.

2.3. The mechanical properties of the tape as delivered and on thermally treated samples must correspond to those indicated in Table 3.

Notes

  • Norms of relative elongation (δ 50) are optional for at least 5 heats. The actual results of the control are recorded in the quality document. The norms of relative elongation (δ 50) are specified after the collection of statistical data.
  • Heat treatment of control samples for soft tape is specified in the order. In the absence of the number of the heat treatment mode for the samples in the order, the choice of the mode is made by the supplier.

2.4. The surface quality of the hard-worked strip must correspond to the second group and the surface quality class «B» or «G» — according to GOST 4986.

The surface of the soft tape should be free of scale, ripples and traces of overgrazing.

C.5
TU-14−1-3577−2016

On both sides of the soft tape, individual small scratches, prints, dents and gentle stripping are allowed at a depth of not more than half of the maximum deviations in thickness.

The roughness of the surface (parameter R a) of the soft tape must correspond to the class «G» — according to GOST 4986.

Gray color of the surface of the soft tape with different shades is allowed. The dark color of the surface is not a fault.

2.5. The tape as delivered (soft) is tested for bending on a mandrel with a radius equal to 2.5 x b and 3.0 x b, where b is the nominal thickness of the tape. Bending angle 180 °.

3. Acceptance rules and test methods

3.1. Acceptance rules and test methods for tape — in accordance with GOST 4986 with the following additions.

3.1.1. The yield stress of the tape is determined at a thickness of 0.6 mm or more.

3.1.2. Tests of mechanical properties are carried out in accordance with GOST 11701 at an estimated length

3.1.3. The thickness of the tape is controlled with a micrometer in accordance with GOST 6507, the width — with a tape measure in accordance with GOST 7502.

3.1.4. Bending tests are carried out on longitudinal specimens in accordance with GOST 14019.

4. Marking, packaging, paperwork, transportation and storage

4.1. Marking, packaging, documentation, transportation and storage of the tape must comply with the requirements of GOST 4986.
