Manufacture
Sheet, strip, foil of grade HN70JU are products of rolled sections. They are made of heat-resisting alloy. A composition of finished goods complies with GOST 5632−72 and TC 12 766.4−77. It consists of nickel (65,073 — 71,2%), iron (<1%), chrome (26-29%). Aluminium (2,8-3,5%), mangan (0,3%), phosphorus (<0,015%), silicon (1%), carbon, barium (>0,1%), sulphur (0,012%) should be added to charge mixture in the capacity of masteralloys.
Flat products are manufactured according to GOST 24 982−81. It specifies a quality of hot-rolled and cold-rolled mill-products made of heat-resisting alloys on nickel or iron-nickel basis. Standard heat-resisting flat products have a thickness of more than 1 mm. They are classified by fen type, by evenness, by rolling accuracy. Evenness falls under such categories as special, improved, standard and high. An accuracy falls under increased and standard categories. An edge falls under sheared and mill types.

Heat treatment, welding
Recommended temperature of thermohardening in air or in water is <1200°C. At the beginning jumping up temperature of steel constitutes 1150 — 1180 °C. In the end it is 850 °C. Bar is thermohardened at a temperature of 1050−1150°С in air. This alloy is easy weldable with any type of welding. Electrodes of grade OZL-35, OZL-25 are used for hand electric-arc welding.
Application
Flat products of this grade have the widest usage in various spheres of human activity: in heavy mechanical engineering, building, medical and chemical industries, manufacture of flatware and utensils. Particularly, they are much-requested in that spheres where are needed materials with high resistance to temperature overload (f. e. in turbine constructions, engines, combustion chambers, heating installations, various kilns. There are made many products of this heat-resisting steel material: constructions and details for space and rocket defence objects. A high content of nickel and chrome in composition allows withstanding a high temperature (>1000°C) and not to lose a high resistance to aggressive and acid environment.
