These technical conditions apply to hot-rolled rolled products, calibrated and with a special surface finish (polished) and forged rods made of steel grade 06X16H15M3B-Sh (type EI847-Sh), 06X16H15M3B-VD (type EI847-VD).
The smelting of the initial metal is carried out using especially pure charge materials and nickel of the NKS-1 and H-0 grades. It is permitted to smelt steel using nickel of the H-IU grade with a mass fraction of lead of no more than 0.0005%.

1. ASSORTMENT
1.1. In terms of shape, dimensions and maximum deviations, rolled products and forged rods must meet the following requirements:
- hot-rolled round products - GOST 2590;
diameter from 10 to 120 mm
- forged round rods with a diameter of GOST 1133;
from 45 to 200 mm 200 mm
- calibrated round rolled products - GOST 7417, quality h11 and h12;
diameter from 8 to 28 mm
- ground round rolled products - GOST 14955 quality h9, h10 and h11.

It is permitted to manufacture hot-rolled round products with a diameter of 60 to 70 mm with maximum diameter deviations of plus 2.5 mm, with a diameter of 75 mm - plus 3.0 mm (when delivering rolled products from the roughing stand of the 350/250 mill). The ovality of such rolled products should not exceed 0.6 of the maximum diameter deviation, the curvature should not exceed 5 mm per 1 m of length.
Calibrated rolled products are produced in rods or coils.
1.2. The degree of compression for rolled products calibrated in rods with a diameter of 8 to 13 mm and rolled products with a special surface finish (polished) of all sizes during the final drawing must be at least 20%, for rolled products calibrated in rods with a diameter of 13 to 25 mm inclusive - from 15% to 20%.
The need to comply with this clause is indicated in the order.
2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1. The chemical composition of steel in the ladle sample must comply with the requirements specified in Table 1.

Note - In finished products, subject to compliance with the requirements of these
technical conditions, the following deviations from the chemical
composition in %:
for niobium - plus 0.2;
for carbon - plus 0.01, minus 0.005;
for silicon - plus 0.2;
reducing the niobium to carbon ratio to 8.
2.2. Hot-rolled products and forged rods are supplied in a heat-treated condition (HT) or without heat treatment.
Calibrated rolled products with a diameter of 8-10 mm in rods and all sizes in coils and rolled products with a special surface finish (polished) are supplied in a heat-treated condition.
Rolled products calibrated in rods with a diameter of more than 10 mm are supplied in "H" for the work-hardened condition.

For calibrated rolled products and those with a special surface finish (ground), supplied in rods in a heat-treated condition, heat treatment is carried out in coils of the output size before cutting and grinding.
The heat treatment mode depends on the product range:
a) hot-rolled products and forged rods - annealing at a temperature of (900 ± 20)°C, holding for 50 to 60 min, cooling in water or air;
b) rolled products calibrated in rods and with a special surface finish (polished) - annealing at a temperature of (900-950)°C, holding from 40 to 60 minutes, cooling - in water or air.
c) calibrated rolled products in coils - austenitization at a temperature of (1050-1100)°C, holding for 30 min, cooling - in water or in air.
The delivery status is specified in the order.
2.3. The mechanical properties of rolled products and rods supplied in the work-hardened condition are determined on control heat-treated samples and must meet the requirements specified in Table 2. The mechanical properties of rolled products and rods supplied in the heat-treated condition are determined on samples made from products in the delivery condition and must also meet the requirements of Table 2.

Note: Mechanical properties of calibrated rolled products and those with special finishing
surfaces (polished) with a diameter of up to 10 mm inclusive are determined on
samples of the supplied profile.
2.4. The grain size of rolled products calibrated in rods and with a special surface finish (polished) must not be larger than number 7.
2.5. The macrostructure of rolled products and rods, checked on transverse templates, should not have any bubbles or films visible without the use of magnifying devices.

The presence of layered crystallization and a light outline in the macrostructure is not a rejection feature.
2.6. The contamination of steel with non-metallic inclusions should not exceed the standards specified in Table 4.

2.7. Steel must be resistant to intercrystalline corrosion.
2.8. The surface condition of hot-rolled products and forged bars must comply with the standards of GOST 5949, and calibrated products must comply with group B of GOST 1051.
The surface condition of rolled products with a special surface finish (polished) must comply with the requirements of GOST 14955 groups B, V or G.
When ordering rolled products with a special surface finish (polished) according to group B, delivery of up to 15% of the batch (order) according to group B is allowed with separate packaging.
The surface group of the ground rolled product is specified in the order.
2.9. Control of hot-rolled products and forged rods for hairlines is carried out in finished parts at the consumer's in accordance with the requirements of TU 14-1-336-72.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES AND TEST METHODS
3.1. Rules for acceptance and testing methods for products: hot-rolled and forged - according to GOST 5949, calibrated - according to GOST 1051, with special surface finishing (polished) - according to GOST 14955.
3.2. Rods (coils) are supplied in batches consisting of one heat and one diameter.
The weight of a calibrated rolled product coil must be at least 20 kg.
3.3. To check the quality of the products, the following are selected from a batch of rods (coils):
a) for chemical analysis - one sample from the melt - ladle in accordance with GOST 7565;
b) to control the macrostructure - two templates from the melt;
c) to control non-metallic inclusions - 6 samples from the melt;
d) for tensile tests - two samples from different rods (coils);
d) to control intercrystalline corrosion - 2 samples from the melt;
e) to control grain size - 3 samples from a batch.
3.4. Chemical analysis is carried out according to GOST 12344 - GOST 12348, GOST 12350, GOST 12352, GOST 12354, GOST 12361 and GOST 28473 or other methods that are not inferior in accuracy to the requirements of the specified standards.
3.5 Macrostructure control is carried out in accordance with GOST 10243.
3.6. Sampling for mechanical testing is carried out in accordance with GOST 7564.
3.7. Tensile testing is carried out according to GOST 1497 on round samples of five times the length.
3.8. The test for susceptibility to intercrystalline corrosion is carried out according to GOST 6032 by the AMU method, by the AM method after a 2-hour provoking tempering at a temperature of 650°C with preliminary austenitization of samples at a temperature of 1050-1100°C with cooling in air or water.
3.9 Evaluation of sulfides, oxides and silicates is carried out according to GOST 1778, method Ш4.
The assessment of niobium carbides, nitrides and carbonitrides is carried out according to scale No. 8 of the Ukrainian Scientific Research Institute for the assessment of niobium nitrides in a tubular blank.
It is permissible to evaluate niobium carbides, nitrides and carbonitrides using the scales of GOST 1778, method Ш, option Ш4.
3.10. The grain size is determined according to GOST 5639.
3.11. If the results of any type of test are unsatisfactory, it is permitted to conduct repeated tests for this type of control on a double number of samples.

If the results of repeated tests are unsatisfactory, a cast-by-cast rejection of the melt is permitted.
3.12. All rods or coils of the batch are subject to control for compliance with the steel grade. Metal control for compliance with the steel grade is carried out with a steeloscope according to the manufacturer's method.
4. MARKING, PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
4.1. Marking of hot-rolled products is carried out by stamping on the side surface of the rod. From 5 to 10 rods of the pack are subject to marking.
4.2. Marking of forged rods is carried out by stamping on the side surface or end of each rod.
Other requirements for product labeling, packaging, transportation and storage in accordance with GOST 7566.
