Nr. 2.4602. Marketing general names of alloy: Hastelloy C22 ®, Nicrofer ® 5621, Inconel ® 22. This alloy possesses resistance to alkaline, general, intercrystalline corrosion and resistance to corrosion cracking under a voltage. Hastelloy C22 is used in marine geologic exploration, energetics, industrial chemistry, industrial recycling, paper-making industry, in contamination control etc. This alloy consist of molybdenum, chrome, iron, wolframium. Their presence conduces to resistance to corrosion in flowing or slack sea waters.
Manufacture
Mill-products of this alloy are represented with the further types: rod, welded and seamless tube, wire, plate, sheet, flange, connecting piece, forging. Sheet has a thickness 0.9 — 3.5 mm. Rod is made in a form of forging with a diameter not more than 280 mm. The bigger sizes can be made to order. Coiled material is made in large-format sizes. Its widths can amount up to 300 mm and a widths of plate is up to 50 mm. Seamless tube Inconel X750 ® can be rolled to a diameter of not more than 200 mm. Huge diameters can be made to order in a form of welded tube. All products (with a welding seam) are exposed to a method with tight tolerances of nondestructive control. Practically, tubes can be manufactured of any diameter. Extent of allowance does not depend on order quantity.

Alloying produces a multidimensional effect on a steels quality:
— chrome increases hardness and resistant to corrosion;
— nickel confers plasticity to alloy;
— wolframium confers hardness, red-hardness;
— vanadium increases strength, resistance to impact loads and wipe out;
— cobalt raises a heat-resistance, a magnetic permeability;
— molybdenum confers red-hardness, strength, resistance to corrosion at a high temperature.
— when a quantity of mangan is more than 1%, it increases impact index and wearing qualities;
— titanium increases stability, corrosive resistance;
— aluminium raises resistance to oxide scale formation;
— niobium increases resistance to acids.
