CuSi3Mn1 alloy
CuSi3Mn bronze strip is a solid section made of silicon-manganese bronze. Technical conditions for a manufacture silicon-manganese bronze sheets of grade CuSi3Mn1 are specified by GOST 4748−92. Chemical formula — CuSi3Mn1. CuSi3Mn1 is alloy of tinless bronze. It is resistant to corrosion, has good mechanical properties. Si (silicon) and Mn (manganese) (silicon-manganese bronze) are present in composition of bronze alloy. Furthermore, Zn, Fe, Ni, Sn, Pb are also present in a composition of bronze alloy CuSi3Mn1. It is necessary to do an additional heat treatment in order to make a sheet of bronze alloy CuSi3Mn1 more consistent. Silicon-manganese bronze can be pressure-treated.

Casting and technological properties
Hot processing of alloy is done at 750 — 850 °C. Annealing of alloy is performed at a temperature of 700 — 750 °C.
CuSi3Mn1 differs from the others with its spring-elastic properties. It is cheaper in comparison to other alloys.
Application
Bronze mill-products are used in various spheres. There can be manufactured springs, various parts for chemical industry. It is also used in shipbuilding, mechanical engineering. It is used for welded constructions. Alloy can be also used in manual welding, flux welding of copper. It can be easily cut, stamped.
