These technical conditions apply to non-standard sizes of pressed pipes made of D1 and D16 alloys.
Examples of pipe symbols:
Round pipe made of aluminum alloy grade D1, without heat treatment, with an outer diameter of 30 mm, wall thickness of 8 mm, non-dimensional length /ND/:

1. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
1.1. Assortment
1.1.1. The dimensions of the pipes and their maximum deviations must correspond to Table 1.

1.2. Characteristics
1.2.1. Pipes must be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of these technical specifications from aluminum alloys of grades D1 and D16 with a chemical composition according to GOST 4784-74.
1.2.2. The alloy grade, delivery condition and length are specified in the work order.
1.2.3. The mechanical properties of hardened and naturally aged pipes must comply with the requirements of GOST 18482-79; only the strength limit is determined during testing.

The mechanical properties of pipes supplied in annealed condition are not controlled.

2.1. Acceptance rules and testing methods according to GOST 18482-79.
3. MARKING, PACKAGING AND TRANSPORTATION
3.1. The pipes are supplied without branding or preservation. The pipes are tied into bundles, to which a label is attached indicating the alloy grade, material condition, batch number and the brand of the quality control department of the manufacturing enterprise.
3.2. Packaging and transportation of pipes is carried out in accordance with GOST 9.011-79.
