Composition
Flat products of HN45JU grade are made of heat-resisting alloy. This alloy is manufactured in open electrical furnaces. A composition of finished products is completely compliant with technical regulations 14−1-2396−78, 14−1-941−74, 14−1-2075−87, 14−1-4082−86, GOST 5632−72. Nickel (44−46%), iron (30,85−38,1%), chrome (14−16%) constitute its composition. Aluminium (2,9−3,9%), selenium (0,03%), phosphorus (<0,02%), mangan, silicon (1%), carbon, barium (>0,1%), sulphur (0,02%) should be added to charge mixture in the capacity of masteralloys. Complex alloyed composition demonstrates the highest corrosive resistance in aggressive environment. Its content must be charged with nickel, chrome, silicon, aluminium, mangan. Grade with a required predefined feature sets is matched depending on stated specific conditions (concentration of aggressive factor and t°).

Manufacture
GOST 24 982−81 specifies a manufacture of hot-rolled and cold-rolled mill-products that are made of heat-resisting alloys on nickel or iron-nickel basis. Flat products usually have a thickness of >1 mm depending on operation conditions. Jumping up temperature of mill-products: at the beginning — 1150−1180°C, in the end — 850 °C. Mill-products are quenched in air at a temperature of 1050−1150°С. Flat products are easy weldable with any type of welding. Electrodes of grade OZL-35, OZL-25 are used for hand electric-arc welding.
Classifying
Flat products are classified by an edge type, evenness, and rolling accuracy. Evenness falls under such categories as special, improved, standard and high. Accuracy falls under increased and standard categories. An edge falls under sheared and mill types.
Application
Nowadays, heat-resisting mill-products have the widest application in various spheres of human activity: in heavy mechanical engineering, building, medical and chemical industries, manufacture of flatware and utensils. It is particularly much-requested in industrial spheres where are needed materials with a high resistance to a temperature overstress (f.e. in objects of space-based or missile defences)

Flat products are used in manufacture of details for heat-treatment furnaces, turbines, engines, combustion chambers, heating installations.
