Characteristics of alloy

45NHT alloy relates to precision alloys with defined characteristics of elasticity. It is used in manufacturing of section iron, wires, strips, sheets that are applied while making gyroscopes, hangers, spinning devices, fluid density meters, and sensing elastic elements with complex shapes of hangers.

Precision alloy possesses unique physical, mechanical characteristics (magnetic, elastic, heating, electrical etc.) It differs with an accuracy of chemical composition, an absence of residual elements, a carefulness of making and processing. It is a high-alloyed precision alloy. Precision alloys are manufactured on a basis of iron, nickel, copper, niobium, cobalt. Shape steel-rolled stock and bar section made out of alloy grade 45NHT are made in accordance with technical conditions 14−1-3074−80.

Welding:

hardly weldable	in order to obtain a qualitative welded joints, it is necessary to perform the following operations: while welding to heat it up to 200−300°C, heat treating (annealing) after welding
