This specification applies to heat-treated steel strap for winding springs.
1. NOMENCLATURE. VARIETY
1.1. Depending on the purpose, the tape is subdivided:
a) by material:
- steel grade 70S2XA — for springs of watch mechanisms;
- steel grade 40KKHNM (K40NKhM) — a corrosion-resistant non-magnetic alloy for springs of watch mechanisms operating in high humidity conditions at temperatures of ± 50 ° С;
- steel grade 70 — for winding toy springs.
NOTE:
- Steel grade 70S2XA or 70 is specified in the order.
- Tape from alloy 40KHNM is manufactured in technically justified cases by agreement of the parties.
b) by manufacturing accuracy:
Tape from steel 70S2XA and alloy 40KHNM:
- normal accuracy in thickness and width;
- increased accuracy in thickness and width;
- increased accuracy in thickness;
70 grade steel strip:
- normal accuracy in width and thickness.
1.2. The dimensions of the tape and the maximum deviations for them must correspond to those indicated in table. No. 1, 2 and 3

- Tape with a width of 4 mm with a thickness of 0.2 mm and more and 5 mm with a thickness of 0.25 mm and more can be made crimped.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1. The strip is made of steel grade 70 in accordance with GOST 1050−60, 70S2XA in accordance with GOST 14959−69, alloy 40KHNM in accordance with GOST 10994−64.
2.2. The mechanical properties of the tape must correspond to those indicated in table. No. 4 and 5.

2.2.2. Mechanical properties (spring angle and number of bends) of a tape made of 40KKHNM alloy must correspond to those indicated in Table 4. After the release and can be checked by the consumer after the release of the tape according to the mode specified by the tape manufacturer in the certificate.

2.3. The surface of the strips made of steel grades 70S2XA and 70 should be colored. Colorization color from light yellow to violet.
In one roll, simultaneously different shades of colorization color are allowed within the specified colors.
NOTE: By agreement of the parties, the tape with a thickness of 0.1−0.15 mm can be supplied light-spotted with tint colors from yellow to dark blue.
2.4. Alloy 40KHNM strip is supplied with a light surface.
2.5. On the surface of the tape there should be no sunsets, deep shells, delamination, transverse marks. There should be no rust on the surface of the steel strip.
Longitudinal scratches, risks, cavities, imprints and from rolls and roughness, the depth or height of which does not exceed half of the maximum deviation in thickness, are allowed.
2.6. The height of the tape surface must be at least 8 class in accordance with GOST 2789−59.
2.7. The edges of the tape should be sanded (dull).
There should be no flaws or cracks on the edges of the tape. Traces from abrasive processing and unpolished places (shortage) in an amount of not more than 10 per 1 skein are allowed.
NOTE: 4mm and 5mm tape edges can be naturally rounded.
2.8. The tape should be supplied in rolls with an inner diameter of 100 to 300 mm.
Crimped tape can be supplied in bundles or on spools.
2.9. The minimum weight of a roll, consisting of one piece, is set at the rate of 0.60 kg per 1 mm2 of the tape cross-section.
In one roll, several pieces of tape of the same grade of material, manufacturing accuracy, one type of surface, each at least 20 m long, are allowed. The number of such rolls should not exceed 10% of the batch.
3. RULES OF ACCEPTANCE AND TEST METHODS
3.1. The finished tape is accepted by the technical control department of the supplying plant in accordance with these specifications.
The supplier guarantees that the tape meets the requirements of these specifications.
3.2. The tape is delivered in batches. A batch should consist of a tape of the same size, grade of material, one heat, one precision of manufacture.
3.3. The quality control of the tape by the technical control of the supplier is carried out in accordance with the following sampling and sampling rules and test methods.
3.4. Each roll is subject to external inspection and measurement.
Inspection of the surface and edges is carried out with the naked eye, the size is checked with a micrometer and a vernier caliper.
3.5. To control the spring angle and the number of bends, 10% of the rolls are taken from each batch.
3.5.1. The spring angle is determined according to the standard of the Leningrad Steel Rolling Plant STP 9−38−73 and according to Table 6.

3.5.2. Determination of the number of bends is made in accordance with GOST 13813−68 and in accordance with table No. 7.

3.6. Determination of the cleanliness (roughness) of the surface is carried out according to GOST 2789−59 using the MKS-11 microscope.
3.7. For each type of test, one sample should be taken from each controlled roll.
3.8. The chemical composition of the metal of the tape is certified by the certificate of the metal supplier. If necessary, the chemical composition of the metal of the tape is determined in accordance with GOST 2331−63, GOST 11655−65.
3.9. If unsatisfactory results are obtained for at least one of the indicators, repeated tests are carried out on it with a double roll from the number that did not pass the tests.
The results of the retest are considered final.
3.10. For control verification by the consumer of the quality of products for compliance with the requirements of these specifications, the selection rules and test methods specified above should be applied.
Notes: For a strip made of alloy grade 40KZNM, the certificate additionally specifies the mode of heat treatment (tempering) of the metal at the consumer.
4. MARKING AND PACKAGING
4.1. Marking and packaging of the tape in accordance with GOST 2614−65.
5. PROCEDURE OF PAYMENT FOR PRODUCTS
5.1. The wholesale price is calculated according to the appendix.

Initial data for price calculation:
1. As a base tape / analogue /, a heat-treated steel tape for winding springs is used, colorized with rounded edges from steel grade U10A of normal accuracy according to ChMTU 3664−53 with additional-1−4, the price of which is listed in the price list 01−5 p. 70 -71 h. 1.
2. The tape according to the new technical conditions differs in the following quality indicators from the analog tape / cm. appendix 2 /.
3. The wholesale price for a strip made of steel grade 70C2XA under the new technical conditions is determined by the formula Tsn = / TsbTsm x Ku / x / / 12fed7086c7b6956090083aa.
Tsb = for all sizes according to CMTU 3663−53 made of U10A steel.
Base price for newly introduced tape dimensions with thickness: 0.21 mm; 0.23 mm; 0.25 mm; 0.27 mm; 0.32 mm; 0.36 mm; 0.39 mm; 0.42 mm; 0.47 mm and 0.62 mm are accepted at the list price of the tape of the nearest smaller size / pr. 01−05, Wed 13/.
For other newly introduced sizes, the Central Bank is determined using KS — the coefficient of price ratio in accordance with GOST 2614−65 pp. 56−57 and the price of the tape according to ChMTU 3664−53 of the nearest sizes and Kc of the price of the tape according to ChMTU.

3. Supplement section 3 «Acceptance rules and test methods» with paragraphs 3.11 and 3.12:
- See paragraph 3.11. To check the rib curvature of a tape measuring 0.23x6.75 and 0.63x20 mm, samples from 5% of the rolls of the batch are taken from alloy 40KHNM.
- See point 3.12. The determination of the rib curvature of the tape 0.23x6.74 and 0.63x20 mm is carried out in accordance with GOST 2283−69.
