1.3 Marking
1.3.1 Tire markings must comply with the requirements of GOST 18690-82.
1.3.2 The label attached to each box must indicate:
- trademark or name and trademark of the manufacturer;
- conventional designation of tires;
- batch number;
- technical control stamp.
1.4 Packaging
1.4.1 Tires are supplied in wooden boxes weighing up to 1000 kg. Between the layers of tires there is a layer of packing paper according to GOST 8273-75 or waxed paper according to GOST 9569-79. A pack of tires in a box is wrapped in polyethylene film according to GOST 10354-82.
Note: other types of packaging are permitted upon agreement with the customer.
2 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
2.1 The air in the working area during drawing of copper busbars must comply with the requirements of GOST 12.1.005-88.

2.3 Copper buses are fire and explosion proof.
2.4 Loading and unloading operations must be carried out in accordance with GOST 12.3.009-76.
3 ACCEPTANCE
3.1 Tires are accepted in batches. A batch must consist of tires of the same brand and size and must be issued with one quality document containing:
- trademark or trademark and name of the manufacturer;
- conventional designation of tires;
- batch number;
- the mass of the batch;
- technical control stamp.
3.2 100% of tires in a batch are subject to external inspection.

3.3 For size control, 10% of tires from a batch are selected, but not less than three tires.
3.4 Tests for compliance with clause 1.1.4 are carried out during the production process.
3.5 To determine the mechanical properties, 2% of the tires in the batch are selected, but not less than three tires.
3.6 To determine the chemical composition, samples are taken from the molten metal of each heat at the manufacturing plant.
3.7 If unsatisfactory results are obtained, repeat tests are carried out on a double number of samples taken from the same batch.
The results of the retests apply to the entire batch.
4 CONTROL METHODS
4.1 Measurement of tire sizes is carried out using a micrometer MK in accordance with GOST 6507-90 and a caliper ShchTs-1 in accordance with GOST 166-80.
The dimensions of the tires are measured at a distance of at least 1 m from the beginning or end of the strip in three places located at least 100 mm from each other; the arithmetic mean of the three measurements is taken as the size value.
4.2 The radius of curvature is checked using special templates, or a projector with a magnification of at least ten times on tire samples, or during the manufacture of drawing tools.
4.3 The quality of the tire surface for the presence of surface defects is checked by visual inspection without the use of magnifying devices.
4.4 The roughness of tires is checked according to GOST 2789-73.
4.5 The cross-sectional shape of the tires is controlled using a projector or during the manufacture of the drawing tool.
4.6 The tire hardness test is carried out in accordance with GOST 9012-59 at least three times on a 200 mm long sample at a distance of 1/3 from the edge of the tire.
4.7 The crescent shape of tire stripes is determined according to GOST 26877-86.
4.8 The chemical composition of tires is determined according to GOST 9717.1-82 - GOST 9717.3-82, GOST 13938.1-78 - GOST 13938.12-78, GOST 13938.13-93 or other methods that are not inferior in accuracy to the standard ones. Sampling and sample preparation according to GOST 24231-80.
