TU 14-134-384-2000

These technical conditions apply to the production of hot-rolled and forged rods from maraging corrosion-resistant steel grade 04Kh13N8MTYu of open smelting and 04Kh13N8MTYu-VI of vacuum-induction smelting. Pilot batch of 150 tons, each smelting method.

1. ASSORTMENT

1.1. Steel is produced in the form of round rods with a diameter of:

hot rolled from 10 to 50 mm - manufacturer LASMET LLC

forged from 80 to 180 mm.

By agreement with the manufacturer, rods of other sizes can be supplied.

1.2. In terms of shape, dimensions and maximum deviations, the rods must comply with:

GOST 2590 - for rolled,

GOST 1133 - for forged bars.

1.3. The ends of the rods must be trimmed. There must be no burrs or significant crushing on the ends of the rods. The obliqueness of rods up to 30 mm in diameter is not regulated, crushed ends and burrs are allowed: for rods over 30 mm in diameter it must not exceed 0.1 of the diameter.

1.4. The smelting of 04Kh13N8MTYu-VI steel is carried out without adding waste.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. The chemical composition of steel 04Kh13N8MTYu and 04Kh13N8MTYu-VI must meet the requirements of Table 1.

2.3. The rods are supplied without heat treatment.

2.4. The mechanical properties of steel at a temperature of 20(+15/-10) °C, determined on heat-treated samples manufactured with an allowance for grinding, must comply with the requirements of Table 3. The actual test results on a pilot batch are not a defective feature and are indicated in the quality document.

2.5. Requirements for surface quality and macrostructure according to GOST 5949.

2.6. Rods with a diameter of 80 to 180 mm are checked for the absence of internal defects using ultrasonic flaw detection and must comply with quality group 2 according to GOST 21120. Ultrasonic testing is carried out according to the manufacturer's method.

2.7. The contamination of 04Kh13N8MTYu-VI steel with non-metallic inclusions when assessed according to GOST 1778, method Ш6 (according to the maximum score), must not exceed the standards specified in Table 4.

Type of non-metallic inclusions Maximum score
C (sulfides) 1.0
OT (point oxides) 1.0
OS (linear oxides) 2.0
CX (brittle silicates) 2.0

SN (non-deformable silicates) 2.0
NS (nitrides and carbonitrides, row) 4.0
NT (nitrides and carbonitrides point) 4.0
NA (aluminum nitrides) 4.0

Control of steel contamination with non-metallic inclusions of forged and hot-rolled rods is carried out on two samples from a melt, taken from the sub-profit part of different ingots or samples of letters A and B from a melt consisting of one ingot.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES AND TEST METHODS

3.1. Acceptance rules and testing methods according to GOST 5949.

4. MARKING, PACKAGING, DOCUMENTATION AND TRANSPORTATION

4.1. Marking, packaging, transportation and documentation are carried out in accordance with GOST 7566.
