These technical conditions apply to the supply of hot-rolled, forged rods and strips made of alloy grades KhN35VT (EI612), KhN35KVT (EI612K) and KhN75TBYu (EI869), intended for the manufacture of fasteners and blade parts for turbines.
1. S o r t a m e n t
1.1. The alloy is supplied in the form of hot-rolled and forged round and square bars and strips.
In terms of shape, dimensions and permissible deviations, rods and strips must meet the following requirements:
a) forged and rolled rods of round and square cross-section with a diameter of up to 125 mm inclusive according to GOST 1133-41, forged rods with a square side of mm, as well as rods with a square side of mm, subject to subsequent hot processing.
b) strip in accordance with GOST 4405-75.
The length of rods and strips is specified in the order.
When supplying rods and strips of multiple lengths, the tolerance for the total length is set at plus 100 mm, minus 50 mm.
Rods and strips are supplied in sizes according to the order and the specialization of the mill and hammers.

2. Technical requirements
2.1. The chemical composition of the alloy must meet the requirements specified in Table No. 1.
2.2. The alloy is supplied without heat treatment and hardness control.
2.3. Mechanical properties at a temperature of °C, determined on longitudinal heat-treated samples, must comply with the standards specified in Table No. 2.
2.4. The macrostructure of the alloy on transverse etched templates should not have traces of shrinkage cavities, bubbles, cracks, films and slag inclusions visible to the naked eye.
The grain size must not be larger than 4 points according to GOST 5639-65.
3. Acceptance rules and testing methods
3.1. Surface, test methods, acceptance rules, marking, packaging and technical documentation in accordance with GOST 5949-61.
4. Calculation of wholesale prices
4.1. Calculation of wholesale prices according to the appendix to the TU.

5. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
5.1. Metal products are transported by all types of transport in accordance with the transportation rules applicable to the given type of transport and the conditions for loading and securing cargo approved by the USSR Ministry of Railways.
5.2. Rods and strips must be stored under conditions that ensure the preservation of their quality indicators, as determined by the technical conditions.

3. Section I, assortment, subparagraph "a" shall be set out in a new version:
a) hot rolled - GOST 2590-88, GOST 2591-88
normal rolling accuracy;
Hot rolled rods supplied from the rolling mill stand 350/250 mm Ø 60 ÷ 70 mm with a maximum deviation of +2.5 mm, Ø75 mm with a maximum deviation of +3.0 mm, the ovality of the rods should not exceed 0.6 of the maximum deviation in diameter, the curvature should not exceed 0.5% of the length.

Forged rods Ш mm and Ш mm, intended for subsequent hot processing.
4. Clause 2.4. GOST 5639-65 shall be replaced by GOST 5639-82.
