Appendix No. 1 Extract from TU 14-1-3146-2016

These technical conditions apply to cold-rolled welding tape (hereinafter referred to as tape) made of steel grades Sv-08X19N10G2B (EI898), Sv-10X16N25AM6 (EI395), Sv-04X19N11M3 and Sv-07X25N13, intended for surfacing.

If necessary, the method of smelting steel for the production of tape is specified in the order.

Example of a symbol:

High-precision tape (PT), with a cut edge (O), 0.5 mm thick, 40 mm wide, made of steel grade Sv-07X25N13:

Tape PT-O-0.5x40-Sv-07X25H13 TU 14-1-3146-2016.

The list of regulatory documents (RD) referenced in the text of the technical specifications is given in Appendix A.

Codes for steel grades are given in Appendix B.

1 Assortment

1.1 The tape is manufactured with a thickness of 0.5 to 1.0 mm, a width of 20 to 250 mm and 400 mm with maximum dimensional deviations in accordance with GOST 4986.

The tape manufacturing accuracy is high (PT).

1.2 At the customer's request, the crescent shape of the tape must comply with the requirements of GOST 4986.

1.3 Tape up to 250 mm wide is manufactured with a cut edge (O), 400 mm wide - with an uncut edge (HO).

1.4 The tape is supplied in rolls.

It is allowed to enlarge rolls by welding separate blanks of the same heat. The blanks are connected end-to-end by argon-arc welding with a non-consumable electrode without filler. The weld seam must not have any edge tears, through defects in the form of cracks, punctures and lack of fusion. Welding of the tape is performed only in a roll with a thickness of at least 2 mm. Welding of the tape in the finished size is not allowed.

1.5 The internal diameter of the roll must be from 150 to 600 mm inclusive.

By agreement between the manufacturer and the customer, the tape is supplied in rolls with a specified internal diameter and weight.

1.6 By agreement between the manufacturer and the customer, the tape is supplied with additional requirements for the assortment.

2 Technical requirements

NOTES

1 In finished products, maximum deviations are allowed for steel of all grades in terms of the mass fraction of elements in accordance with Table 3 of GOST 2246.

2 By agreement between the manufacturer and the customer, narrowed limits for the mass fraction of carbon, sulfur, phosphorus, copper and nitrogen may be established, and the residual mass fraction of cobalt, aluminum and oxygen may also be standardized.

2.2 In steel grades Sv-08X19H10G2B (EI898), Sv-04X19H11M3 and Sv-07X25H13, the content of the ferrite phase is determined.

In steel grade Sv-07X25H13, the content of the ferrite phase should be from 5% to 8% inclusive, in steel grades Sv-08X19H10G2B (EI898) and Sv-04X19N11M3 - from 4% to 8% inclusive.

By agreement between the manufacturer and the customer, a limitation on the amount of ferrite phase is permitted.

2.3 The tape is supplied in a semi-worked condition.

2.4 The temporary resistance of the tape in the delivered condition must comply with the standards specified in Table 2.

2.5 In terms of appearance and surface quality, the tape must correspond to surface group 2 and class B according to GOST 4986.

2.6 The edges of the tape must not have cracks, nicks, tears or delamination; burrs greater than the maximum deviation in tape thickness are not allowed. The edges of the tape must not be deformed (bent).

2.7 The tape is supplied with the process lubricant removed from the surface.

The removal of process grease is carried out by etching or wiping. In case of removal of process grease by etching, a matte surface of gray color with different shades is allowed.

It is allowed to remove process lubricant by other methods. The method of removing process lubricant is specified in the order.

3 Acceptance rules and testing methods

3.1 Acceptance rules, testing methods - according to GOST 4986 with the following additions:

3.1.1 The strip is accepted in batches. A batch must consist of strip made of steel of the same melt, the same type of processing, the same cross-section size, the same surface group, and the same type of edges.

3.1.2 Control of the chemical composition of steel is carried out during smelting from a cast sample.

3.1.3 Control of the ferrite phase is carried out during melting from a cast sample using the volumetric magnetic method in accordance with GOST 2246 using a ferritometer of the "IFSS" type or other types that ensure the required accuracy.

TU 14-1-3146-2016

3.1.4 By agreement between the manufacturer and the customer, other sampling methods may be used to determine the content of chemical elements and the ferrite phase of steel.

3.1.5 In the case of delivery of a strip manufactured through cooperation, the chemical composition and content of the ferrite phase are recorded in the quality document from the quality document for the workpiece.

4 Marking, packaging, documentation, transportation and storage

4.1 Marking, packaging, documentation, transportation and storage of tape - in accordance with GOST 4986 with the following additions.

4.1.1 Each roll must have markings (labels) on the inner and outer ends of the tape. The markings (labels) must be applied in a manner that guarantees their safety.

The marking (label) must contain the following information:

- name of the manufacturer;

- steel grade;

- number of these technical conditions;

- melt and batch number;

- tape dimensions (thickness and width);

- weight of the roll.

4.1.2 Rolls of tape may be packed in wooden boxes lined with paper on the inside. Rolls of tape are separated from each other by cardboard or plywood spacers.

Recommended internal dimensions of drawers, mm: 400x100x400, 400x80x350.

One box must contain rolls from one batch. The following information is indicated on the box: steel grade, strip section size, melt number, batch number, quantity and weight of rolls.

4.1.3 The roll must consist of one piece of tape. Winding several pieces of tape into a roll is not permitted.

4.1.4 The tape must be stored indoors, in conditions that protect it from moisture, contamination and mechanical damage.

4.2 The delivery of the tape must be accompanied by a quality document, drawn up in accordance with GOST 7566 with the following additions and clarifications.

4.2.1 By agreement between the manufacturer and the customer, a single quality document is issued for the melt, listing the numbers of the batches manufactured from the given melt and shipped to the customer, their weights, cross-sectional dimensions, results of tensile strength tests, and information on the surface quality.
