Manufacture
Perforated stainless sheet is manufactured out of steel X6CrNiTi18−10 (304 AISI). It is made by cold-rolling. Standard thickness constitutes 0.8 — 1 mm. It is cut out to dimensions of 1000x2000; 1250x2500 mm with square, rectangular, round, hexagonal, oblong perforation. It is possible to perform decorative perforation of various shapes with a help of laser close control equipment. Round and square holes make one below the other by the right lines or by displacing one line to another. There are two types of drawing: deep and standard; and three classes of surface quality. Sheets that are intended to cold stamping have four quality classes. Nowadays, perforated stainless sheets are a much-requested type of metal-roll. They are delivered in bobbins or in sheets.
