These specifications apply to the supply of hot-rolled and forged bars made of corrosion-resistant steel grade 07X16H6-Sh (X16H6-Sh) electroslag remelting.


1. VARIETY


1.1. In terms of shape, size and permissible deviations, the rods must correspond to:

hot rolled round — GOST 2590−71
hot-rolled square — GOST 2591−71, GOST 4693−57, OST 14−13−75
forged — GOST 1133−71.

Note: Hot-rolled square bars less than 100 mm in size and less are allowed to be supplied with blunt corners no more than 0.15 of the square side.


2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS


2.1. The chemical composition of the steel must comply with the standards of table. 1.

Note: The content of residual elements: tungsten, vanadium, molybdenum, copper should not exceed 0.2% each.

2.2. The phase composition of steel, determined on the MKL device, must correspond to 70−130 divisions of the instrument scale.

2.3. When ensuring the magnetization specified in paragraph 2.2, a deviation in the chromium content from the norms of table is allowed. 1 by minus 0.5%.

2.4. The steel is supplied without heat treatment.

At the request of the customer, which is stipulated in the order, the bars are delivered after heat treatment.
Recommended heat treatment mode: annealing at a temperature of 780 ± 15 ° С with cooling in a furnace or in air, followed by heating to a temperature of 680 ± 15 ° С with cooling in a furnace or in air.

2.5. There should be no cracks, sunsets, captivity, hairs and slag inclusions on the surface of the bars. Local defects must be removed by gentle cleaning.

Separate small risks, dents, ripples are allowed without stripping, if the depth of their occurrence does not exceed half of the sum of permissible deviations in size.

The depth of stripping should not exceed the sum of the permissible deviations in size, counting from the actual one.

The stripping width should not be less than six times the depth.

2.6. Burrs at the ends of the bars must be deburred. It is allowed to crush the ends when cutting bars in presses and under hammers.

2.7. When checking the quality of the macrostructure on transverse etched templates, point inhomogeneity, central porosity and liquation square should not exceed 1 point GOST 10243−62. Layer-by-layer crystallization should not exceed 3 points of GOST 10243−62. Other defects classified by GOST 10243−62 are not allowed.

2.8. Bars of 70 mm and larger are ultrasonically tested. A rejection sign is the presence of a defect, the echo signal from which exceeds the echo signal from the control reflector with a diameter of 2.5 mm, located at the same or the closest depth (with an accuracy of 10 mm) at a frequency of 2.5 MHz.

2.9. The supplier guarantees the quality of the metal along the hair lines during the magnetic control of finished parts in accordance with the requirements of technical specifications TU 14−1-336−72.

2.10. Mechanical properties when tested on thermally treated longitudinal specimens must meet the standards of table. 2. Heat treatment is carried out in samples with allowance for grinding according to the mode: hardening 975−1000 ° C, cooling in water; cold treatment for minutes 70 ± 5 ° С, exposure 2 hours; vacation 350−390 ° С, exposure 1−3 hours.

2.11. When controlled by the supplier, the contamination of steel with non-metallic inclusions should not exceed (points GOST 1778−70):

3. RULES OF ACCEPTANCE

3.1. General acceptance rules must comply with the requirements of GOST 7566−69.

3.2. Steel is supplied in batches consisting of bars of one heat, one size and one heat treatment mode. The electroslag smelting includes ingots obtained by remelting one initial smelting, in installations of the same type, in a mold of the same cross-section, on a flux of one batch, in one electric mode.

3.3. The control of the chemical composition is carried out on one sample from the melt. Sampling for determining the chemical composition of steel is carried out in accordance with GOST 7565−73.

3.4. Control of magnetization is carried out during the smelting of the initial melt.

3.5. All bars of the batch are subject to quality control of the surface and dimensions.

3.6. Macrostructure control is performed on two templates from different bars of the batch.

3.7. All bars of the batch are subjected to ultrasonic testing.

3.8. The hairs are controlled on finished children at the consumer’s premises.

3.9. For tensile testing and impact strength, two samples from different bars of the batch are taken in accordance with GOST 7564−73 for each type of test.

3.10. The control of the mechanical properties of rods with a cross-section of 100 mm or less is carried out in the finished grade, and of rods with a size of more than 100 mm — on re-forged or rolled blanks with a cross section of 90−100 mm.

Contamination of steel with non-metallic inclusions is controlled on 6 samples in accordance with GOST 1778−70.

3.11. The manufacturer is given the right to check the macrostructure and test the mechanical properties of steel in the intermediate profile and to distribute the test results to all the profiles rolled from it. At the same time, the manufacturer guarantees the properties of the steel of the finished profiles in accordance with the requirements of these technical specifications.

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. Chemical analysis of steel is carried out in accordance with GOST 12344−66 — GOST 12365−66 or by another method that provides the required determination accuracy.

4.2. The magnetization is controlled according to the supplier’s method.

The control results are recorded in the certificate.

4.3. The surface quality is checked by inspection without the use of magnifying devices.

Dimensions are determined using universal measuring tools or templates.

4.4. The macrostructure of the steel is controlled according to the method and scales of GOST 10243−62.

4.5. Ultrasonic testing is carried out according to the supplier’s method.

4.6. Control for hairs is carried out according to TU 14−1-336−72.

4.7. Tensile testing is performed in accordance with GOST 1497−73.

Impact strength is controlled on samples of type 1 in accordance with GOST 9454−60.

4.8. Contamination with non-metallic inclusions is controlled according to the method and scales of GOST 1778−70.

The assessment is made by the average score calculated as the arithmetic mean of the maximum assessment of each sample for each type of inclusions (method III, variant III).

5. MARKING, PACKAGING, DOCUMENTATION

5.1. General rules for labeling, packaging and documentation must comply with GOST 7566−69.

5.2. Bars are supplied in bags. Bars in bags should be tightly packed and firmly tied every 1.5−2.0 m. The ends of the bars on one side should be aligned.

5.3. Bars with a cross-section of more than 150 mm are marked at the end and on the tags. It is allowed to apply a hot stamp to the side surface.

5.4. The marking sign must contain:

  • — stamp of technical control;
  • — supplier’s trademark;
  • — steel grade;
  • — number of electroslag remelting melt.

The tag additionally indicates the size of the profile and the weight of the shipped batch.

5.5. The tags and certificates additionally bear the State Quality Mark in accordance with GOST 1.9−67.


6. PROCEDURE OF PAYMENT FOR PRODUCTS

6.1. Payment for metal is made at the attached prices.

The crossed out on the title page and in the definition is to be believed.

10. Clause 4.1. References to GOST 12351−66, GOST 12354−66 shall be replaced by references to GOST 12351−81, GOST 12354−81.

11. Section 4 shall be supplemented with clauses 4.9 in the wording: «4.9. Surface roughness control of steel with special finishing is carried out in accordance with GOST 14955−77 «.

12. Clause 5.1 to add: «and GOST 14955−77».

Replace the reference to GOST 7566−68 with a reference to GOST 7566−81.

13. Clause 5.5 shall be stated in the wording: «5.5. For products tested in accordance with the highest quality category, the State Quality Mark in accordance with GOST 1.9−67 is additionally applied to the tags and certificates. «

14. The note to the TU shall be supplemented with the calculation of prices taking into account amendment No. 3.
