Technical characteristics
This alloy relates to deformable bronze alloys. Chemical formula is CuCr1Zr. It is characterized by a thermal resistance and wearing quality. A range of mill-products includes pressed bars, drawn rods, forged products, wire, strip, plates, electrodes of resistance welding, non-standard goods, including products made to customer’s drawing. Alloy possesses good conductivity, high resistance to high temperatures. Pipe of this grade differs with perfect corrosion resistance and heat conduction.

Alloy consists of copper (aluminium 98%). Hardness HB 10 -1 of soft alloy is 68; of hard alloy is up to 140 MPa. Фlloy hardness can rise to 160 HB in some forms of procurement (round bar). A temperature of hot alloy treatment is 700 — 900 °C. Annealing temperature of alloy is 700 °C. Rods are used for welding of thin-sheet low-alloyed steels, low-carbon galvanized coded steel, brass. A choice of steel depends on electric parameters of welding, cooling intensity of electrodes, rate of welding, pressure on electrodes and other parameters.
