TU 14-550-6-94

These technical conditions apply to cold-rolled strip made of grade 60S2A steel, obtained by open smelting (60S2A) or electroslag remelting (60S2A-Sh), hereinafter referred to as strip.

Cold rolled strip is intended for the production of springs and other products.

Example of a symbol:

Cold-rolled strip, 0.7 mm thick, high precision (T), 20.0 mm wide, normal precision, with uncut edges (HO), cold-worked, ordinary quality (H), light (C), without microstructure control, made of 60C2A steel grade.

Tape 0.7-Tx20-NO-N-S-60S2A TU 14-550-6-94

Referenced regulatory documents (RD) are given in Appendix B.

1 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

1.1 Cold-rolled strip must comply with the requirements of these technical conditions and be manufactured according to technological documentation approved in the established manner.

1.2. Main parameters and sections

1.2.1 The tape is manufactured:

- thickness from 0.2 to 3.0 mm;

- width from 15.0 to 240.0 mm.

Maximum deviations in thickness and width of the tape must comply with GOST 2283;

by manufacturing precision

- by thickness:

- normal accuracy;

- high precision - T;

④ Deputy Sheet 2

TU 14-550-6-94

- by width:

- normal accuracy;

- high precision - Ш;

by surface type

- annealed tape:

- light - C;

- light with tarnished colors - C;

- dark;

- work-hardened tape:

- light - C;

- dark;

by the type of edges

- with cut edges;

- with uncut edges - NO;

by type of processing

- annealed of ordinary quality;

- cold-worked, ordinary quality - H;

by microstructure

- without microstructure control.

1.3 Characteristics

1.3.1 The chemical composition of steel must comply with the standards of Table 1.

④ Deputy Sheet 3

TU 14-550-6-94

Table 1 In percentage

Mass fraction of elements
Carbon Manganese Silicon Phosphorus Sulfur Copper Nickel Chromium
no more
0.58-0.63 0.60-0.90 1.6-2.0 0.025 0.025 0.25 0.25 0.30
Note - For steel obtained by electroslag remelting, the mass fraction should not exceed the content of: phosphorus - 0.020%, sulfur - 0.015%. Limit deviations for the mass fraction of carbon are plus or minus 0.02%.

1.3.2 The tensile strength, σ in, should be:

- for annealed tape no more than 880 N/mm² (90 kgf/mm²);

- for work-hardened strip - 780-1180 N/mm² (80-120 kgf/mm²),

- relative elongation, δ 4 for annealed tape should be at least 8%.

1.3.3 The depth of one-sided decarburization of the tape must comply with GOST 2283.

1.3.4 The surface of the tape should be free of film, rolled-in scale, rolled-in metal particles, tears and rust. The presence of isolated films, as well as individual small scratches, marks, prints, ripples, the size of which does not exceed:

- for light and light with tarnished colors of tape - half of the maximum deviations in thickness;

- for dark tape - maximum thickness deviation.

1.3.5 The light tape must have a metallic surface color from light gray to dark gray.

On a light tape with tarnish colors, an oxidized surface with non-uniform tarnish colors of various shades is allowed.

The surface color of the dark tape is not regulated. Spots of dirt are allowed on the surface of the dark tape.

④ Deputy Sheet 4

TU 14-550-6-94

1.3.6 The following is not allowed on tape with cut edges:

- in width - torn edge and nicks with a depth of more than half the maximum deviation;

- by thickness - burrs larger than the maximum deviation for normal thickness accuracy.

1.3.7 On a tape with uncut edges, a torn edge with a depth greater than the maximum deviation in width is not allowed.

1.3.8 Delamination of the tape is not permitted.

1.3.9 The crescent shape of the cut tape must comply with GOST 2283.

1.3.10 Other technical requirements according to GOST 2283.

1.3.11 The purity of steel for non-metallic inclusions for steel grade 60S2A-Sh must comply with the standards specified in Table 2.
