Appendix No. 1
to the Consolidated list of documents on standardization
The list of basic materials and fasteners used for the manufacture of equipment and pipelines of nuclear power plants in accordance with the requirements of federal norms and rules in the field of atomic energy use «Rules for the design and safe operation of equipment and pipelines of nuclear power plants» NP-089−15
The table below lists the grades of the main materials used, standards and specifications (hereinafter referred to as normative documents) for the main materials and fasteners, as well as the maximum temperatures for the use of materials during normal operation of the NPP.
The chemical composition, mechanical characteristics, manufacturing technologies, including heat treatment, control methods and quality assessment standards must meet the requirements of regulatory documents for the main materials and fasteners used. Normative documents with reference to a note to the table should only be applied if the requirements specified in these notes are met.
Prior to their use, basic materials must be thermally treated in accordance with the instructions of regulatory documents for the supplied basic materials or with the requirements of design documentation.
