X6CrNiTi18−10 is steel of austenitic class. It is heat-resistant and corrosion resistant. Temperature of forging is +1220°С at the beginning and +880°С at the end. Details with thickness of up to 30 sm are cooled in air into stacks. Welding method: manual arc, argonarc under flux and gas shielding, argonarc with nonconsumable electrode, resistance spot, electric slag welding. It is advisable to do a final heat treatment. By corrosion and heat resistance, this steel is analogous to X12CrNiTi18−10 grade.
It is used for manufacture of parts and mufflersfor furnace accessories, tubes, connecting pieces, retorts, electrodes of spark plugs, exhaust-system manifolds, welded chemical equipment and huge industrial tanks for alkalis and acids: nitric, phosphorus, acetic. It is broadly used: from household goods to heat-exchangers of nuclear reactors with water coolant.

Thick sheet — GOST 7350 -77. Thin sheet — GOST 5582 -75. Band — GOST 4405−75 and 103−76. Forgings and forged bars — GOST 1133−71 and 25 054−81. Pipes — GOST 9941−81 and 9940−81.
