The selection of the steel grade produced by the manufacturer depending on the desired mechanical properties and manufacturing techniques of wire.
2.2. The tin coating on the wire must be solid, shiny or matte. On the surface of the wire should not be black spots.
Allowed separate flows of tin, not exceeding the positive limit deviation from the actual diameter of the wire, and other defects in the coating without a negative impact on subsequent processing (black dots, roughness, grooves).
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
2.3. The tin coating should be durable and should not crack and flake off when the spiral wrapping of the wire on a cylindrical core with a diameter equal to four times the wire diameter. The number of turns of the spiral must be at least 6.
2.4. For wire N the value of the relative magnetic permeability at field strength 79577,5 vehicles should not exceed 1.1.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

2.6. For a wire diameter of 0.5 and 0.6 mm test bend is replaced by a rupture test with the node; wherein the tearing force of the wire must be at least 50% of tearing force at break without knot.
2.7. Wire is manufactured in coils. Wire on a reel should consist of one segment. The wire should be wound separatornyi rows and free to Mosey skeins. When releasing the skeins from the bindings wire not be withdrawn in «eight».
2.8. Weight of wire on a reel shall be as defined in table.4. Allowed rolls of barbed wire weighing not less than 50% of the specified in table.4, in an amount of not more than 10% of the total mass of the wire in the party.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES
3.1. Wire take parties. The party should consist of wire of one class and of the same diameter and must be issued a document about quality that contains:
trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;
symbol wire;
the weight of the party;
grade of steel wire;
the results of the tests;
the number of packages.
The weight of the batch shall be not less than 500 kg.
3.2. Surface quality and diameter of the wire is checked for each reel.
3.3. To check strength, bends, twists, nabivanija and magnetic permeability of the wire is taken 10% of the coils, but not less than three skeins.
3.4. The chemical composition of the wire shall be certified in accordance with the document on the quality of the manufacturing of steel.
3.5. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators it is carried out re-tests on twice the number of skeins. The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.
4. TEST METHODS
4.1. For each test taken one sample from each end of the check roll.
4.2. Diameter and ovality of wire measured with a micrometer according to GOST 6507 in two mutually perpendicular directions of the same section. To measure the wire diameter select the portion of the surface without sagging tin.

Sampling — according to GOST 7565.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
4.4. The surface quality of the wire is checked visually. Allowed to use magnifier with 3magnification.
The depth of the defect is determined by the destruction of its sweep followed by a measurement in the stripped and unstripped areas.
