1. ASSORTMENT

1. Customer’s request wire is made intermediate diameters with maximum deviations set out for the nearest larger diameter.
2. For heat treated wire and cold drawn wire grades and 20X13 12X13, made with the surface, free from technological lubricant, after etching may increase the negative limit deviation:
for wire diameter 0,3−1,00 mm minus 0.01 mm;
for wire diameter 1,00−6,00 mm — minus 0.02 mm.

1.3. The roundness of the wire must not exceed half the tolerance on the diameter.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1. Wire shall be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner.
Wire shall be manufactured from steel grades: 12X13, 20X13, 30X13, 40X13, 08H18N10, 12H18N9, 17H18N9, 12X18H9T, 12X18H10T, 10X17H13M2T, 10H17N13MZT according to GOST 5632.
By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer wire made of steel of electroslag and vacuum-arc remelting or vacuum induction melting.

2.2. Bright annealed wire, steel brands 08H18N10, 12H18N9, 17H18N9, 12X18H9T, 12X18H10T, 10X17H13M2T and 10H17N13MZT is made with a diameter of 0.3−6.0 mm.
Annealed wire from steel grades 12X13, 20X13, 30X13, 40X13 made blue.
2.3. Wire made from steel of grade 30X13, 40X13 is manufactured in heat treated condition.

2.4. In coordination with the consumer cold drawn wire is made free from the technological lubricant.

2.5. The surface of the wire must be smooth. On the surface are not allowed cracks, sunsets, volosovichi, films, delamination and oxidation. Allowed separate dents, nicks, risks, scratches and Rabina, the depth of which should not be more negative extreme deviations, starting from the actual diameter on the surface and thermally treated oxidized wire color tint.
2.6. Mechanical properties the wire shall conform to the standards specified in table.2.

Notes: 1. At the customer’s request elongation of the wire of the 1st class brands 08H18N10, 12H18N9, 17H18N9, 12X18H9T, 12X18H10T, 10X17H13M2T, 10H17N13MZT with a diameter of 3.50 mm — not less than 35%.
2. By agreement with the consumer it is allowed manufacture of cold drawn wire without standardization of high values of temporary resistance to the rupture.

2.7. Hard drawn wire grades 12H18N9, 17H18N9, 12X18H9T and 12KH18N10T with a diameter of 0.8 mm or more must be able to withstand at least four kinks. For wire diameter less than 0.8 mm test bend is replaced by a rupture test with the node, wherein the tearing force shall be not less than 50% of the gap with no node.

2.8. According to the customer’s requirement cold drawn wire grades 12H18N9, 17H18N9, 12X18H9T, 12X18H10T diameter of 1.0 mm or less, must withstand a winding five turns around a rod with a diameter equal to triple the diameter of the test wire.

2.9. Customer’s request wire, steel brands 08H18N10, 12H18N9, 17H18N9, 12X18H9T, 12X18H10T, 10X17H13M2T and 10X17H13M3T must withstand the test of intercrystalline corrosion.

2.10. Wire is manufactured in coils.
Hard drawn wire with a diameter of 0.30 mm or less, and heat-treated wire of diameter 0.50 mm and less is produced on the coils.
According to the customer’s requirement cold drawn wire with diameters ranging from 0.32−0.55 mm is produced in coils with a diameter of 0,20−0,30 mm — in coils.

2.11. The winding of the wire in coils or on reels must be done in regular rows, without entanglement of the coils, and provide free storage.
The ends of the wire on the roll must be neatly stacked and easy to find. The upper end of the cut wire on the coil should be looped or on the coil cheek. Material of coils must not corrode.
2.12. Into the coil or the coil must be wound single length of wire.
By agreement with the consumer allowed the winding on the coil up to three pieces of wire of the same diameter, one of steel grade and smelting, subject to the separation strips, thus preventing wire entanglement.
2.13. Internal diameter of coil in mm should be not less than:
100 — for wire diameter 0.3−0.5 mm;
150 — for wire diameter 0.6−1.4 mm;
200 — for wire diameter 1,5−2,0 mm;
400 — for wire diameter more than 2.0 mm.
2.14. Weight of wire on a reel or coil shall conform to the standards specified in table.3.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES
3.1. Wire is accepted by the parties. The party should consist of wire of one grade of steel and melting of one type of treatment, of the same diameter and the same accuracy, the same class, and should be issued a document about quality that contains:
trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;
symbol wire;
the room melt;
the results of the tests;
the number of coils, coils or coils of wire;
the net weight.

3.2. Verify diameter and appearance are subjected to each coil or coil wire.
3.3. To check the mechanical properties of the wire and test for intercrystalline corrosion of the party take 5% skeins or coils, but not less than two.

3.4. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators it is carried out re-tests on twice the number of samples taken from the coils or reels from the number of passed tests. Upon receipt of unsatisfactory results, re-testing at least one of the indicators is carried out continuous monitoring on this indicator.

4. TEST METHODS
4.1. Diameter and ovality of wire measured with a micrometer according to GOST 6507 and GOST 4381в two mutually perpendicular directions of the same cross section wire.

4.1. For each type of test must be selected one sample from the roll or the outer end of the coil.
(Added, Rev. N 4).
4.2. The depth of the defect is determined by the destruction of its sweep and measure the diameter of the wire in places Stripping.
4.3. Test wire tensile is carried out according to GOST 10446.
4.4. Test wire for the winding is carried out according to GOST 10447. The surface condition of a wire diameter of 1 mm or less after coiling is permitted to inspect at a magnification of 5−10 times. In wound specimens of wire should not be cracked.

4.5. Test the wire on the bend is carried out according to GOST 1579.
4.6. Test wire to intergranular corrosion is carried out according to GOST 6032.
4.7. Sampling for the determination of chemical composition is carried out according to GOST 7565. Chemical composition of wire certified by a quality document. At customer’s request, carry out an inspection of the chemical composition of finished wire according to GOST 12345 — 12365 GOST, GOST 28473.

5. MARKING, PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
5.1. Heat-treated wire of steel grades 12X13, 20X13, 30X13, 40X13 and hard drawn wire should be coated with a thin layer conservation and oil or grease marks specified in GOST 9.014 that protects the surface of the wire against corrosion and non-sticking of the turns.
Allowed to use other oils or greases that protect the wire from corrosion.
According to the customer’s requirement cold drawn wire with lubricant is not covered.
5.2. Each coil of wire shall be tied with soft wire according to GOST 3282 or other wire according to normative-technical documentation in at least three areas of the rolls, evenly spaced around the circumference. Coils of wire with a diameter of 0.80 mm and less are allowed to tie up the end of the same roll.
Allowed coils of wire of the same steel grade and melting a single type of treatment, of the same diameter, one precision and one class of tie-in Bay. Each Bay should be tied with soft wire according to GOST 3282 or other wire according to normative-technical documentation in at least three places evenly spaced around the circumference.
5.3. Each ball or Bay shall be securely attached a label, which indicate:
trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;
symbol wire;
the room melt;
stamp of technical control.
5.4. Transport marking under GOST 14192.
5.5. Each coil (coil) of wire with a diameter of 0.5 mm and less should be wrapped in a layer of paper and placed in a tight wooden box of the type II according to GOST 18617 or metal container according to normative-technical documentation, lined with waterproof paper.
Each coil of wire with a diameter of more than 0.5 mm should be wrapped in a layer of paper, then a layer of a polymeric film or nonwoven materials, or woven fabrics of the chemical fibers. When mechanized packaging a coil of wire should be wrapped in a layer of paper according to GOST 10396 or paper brand CMS-170, or other creped paper, equal in protective properties, or a polymer film with simultaneous locking packaging wire according to GOST 3282, or another wire.
The quality of packaging materials used:
the waxed paper according to GOST 9569 (allowed the use of two-layer paper 8828 churchyard or other securities that provide protection against corrosion);
the polymeric film according to GOST 10354, GOST 16272, or other polymer film;
container holstoproshivny or laminated fabric, stitched ribbon from textile industry waste or woven fabrics of chemical fibers according to normative-technical documentation.
Allowed to use other methods of preservation and packaging, ensuring the safety wire.
5.6. The gross mass of the package must not exceed 1000 kg, on request of the consumer not more than 80 kg.
Consolidation packages in overpacks carried out according to GOST 24597, GOST 21650.
5.7. Wire transporterowych by all kinds of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with cargo carriage regulations applicable to transport of this species.
Transportation of the wire for railway carriages is small and light shipments.
Stowage and securing of cargo in vehicles must meet the specifications of loading and fastening of cargoes, approved by the Ministry of Railways of the USSR.
Allowed the transport of wire in universal containers according to GOST 15102,20435 GOST, GOST 22225.
5.8. Storage wire — on storage conditions 5 GOST 15150.
