This standard applies to steel aircraft cables, used in control systems for aircraft, and establishes a method of pre-exhaust before operation.
1. EQUIPMENT
1.1. The extrusion of a rope can be made by means of any mechanism or machinery (winches, gates, etc.) with the use of pointer force (dynamometer, pressure gauge, etc.) attached to the rope, or by means of cargo, suspended from the end of the rope (if the hood is made in one end) or to block (if the hood is manufactured in multiple finishes).
1.2. Installation, the hood can be horizontal or vertical.
1.3. The diameter of the guide rollers or drum shall be not less than 1000, where the diameter of the outer wire rope.
The radius of the grooves of the rollers or drum should be 0.5, where a is the diameter of the rope. Maximum deviation radius of the groove 0.1 mm.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
2. PREPARING FOR THE TEST
2.1. The rope, under hood, should not have structural defects.
2.2. The attachment of the ends of the rope should be done with kousei, clips, snails or any other method that does not allow slippage of the rope in places of its fastening under the action of efforts in making the extract.
2.3. Before sealing rope in the connecting fixtures of the end of his tie with a soft wire to prevent arbitrary raspletanie rope.
3. THE TEST
3.1. The cable stretching can be done at one end (Fig.1) and in a few ends (Fig.2−3).
