trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;
symbol wire;
the results of the tests;
the number of skeins or coils of wire;

the date of manufacture.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
3.2. The appearance and diameter of the control wire on each reel or coil.
3.3. To control the mechanical properties of wire and the quality of zinc coating from party select 10% of the skeins or coils, but not less than five.
3.4. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators it is carried out re-tests on twice the number of skeins or coils. The results of repeated tests spread to the entire party.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
4. TEST METHODS
4.1. To control the mechanical properties of the wire, nabivanija, the uniformity of the zinc coating selected one sample from the roll or the outer end of the coil, and to control the surface density of the zinc is taken at least two samples. The sampling carried out not less than 0.5 m from one another.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 3).
4.2. Surface inspection is carried out visually without the use of magnifying devices.

4.4. Test wire tensile is carried out according to GOST 10446.
4.5. The test of wire on the winding is carried out in accordance with the requirements of section 2.4 host 10447.
4.6. Surface density of zinc determine the volume-gasometrical or weighting methods, and the uniformity of zinc coating by immersion. The differences in the assessment of quality is applied the weight method.

4.6.1. Space-gasometrical method
4.6.1.1. Equipment
The dissolution of the zinc coating is carried out in a device consisting of a reservoir and connected to it with a rubber hose, a glass burette with two taps, or in the device, consisting of burettes and surge vessel. Tube surge vessel must be tightly prichert to the walls of the vessel, so that the released hydrogen could not push.
4.6.1.2. Preparing for the test
Before the test samples are measured, degreased with alcohol, gasoline or benzene and wipe with a clean cloth.
4.6.1.3. Testing
Testing of samples is carried out separately. Zinc coating dissolve when fully immersed sample in the following aqueous solution mixture of acids:
sulfuric according to GOST 4204 — 100 g/DM;
a salt according to GOST 3118 — 34 g/DMor in a solution of inhibited sulphuric acid: 2 g AsOor SbOis dissolved in 60 cmof hydrochloric acid density of 1.19 g/cmand 1 DM is pouredsulfuric acid concentration of 80 g/DM.
The zinc coating is dissolved at ambient temperature until the complete cessation of outgassing of hydrogen.
For each sample measure the amount of hydrogen contributing tot, and the arithmetic average of the volume lead to the normal conditions: pressure 101х10PA (760 mm Hg.St.), temperature 0 °C.
(Changed edition, Rev.
N 1).
4.6.1.4. Processing of the results
The average surface density of zinc (), g/m, is calculated by the formula
,
where is the arithmetic average of the volume of hydrogen under normal conditions, mm.
— nominal wire diameter, mm;
— length of sample, mm.
Surface density of zinc only a coil or coils is estimated by the arithmetic mean of the test results.
The average surface density of zinc is calculated to the nearest 0.1 g/m.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 3).
4.6.2. Weight method
4.6.2.1. Preparing for the test
Be test, the samples degreased with alcohol, benzene or gasoline and wipe with a clean cloth.
4.6.2.2. Testing
Prepared samples are weighed.
The zinc coating is dissolved in a solution of inhibited sulphuric acid of the composition specified in claim
Samples were washed with distilled water and wipe with a clean cloth to remove moisture and weighed again. After the etching of zinc measured diameter of the specimen.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 3).
4.6.2.3. Processing of the results
Surface density of zinc (), g/m, is calculated by the formula
,
where is the mass of a sample or group of samples of wire to remove the coating, g;
— the weight of a sample or group of samples of wire after removing the coating, g;
— diameter of the sample wire after removing the coating, mm.
Value , determined to the nearest 0.001 g and 0.01 mm, the surface density of zinc, 0.1 g/m.
Surface density of zinc only a coil or coils is estimated by the arithmetic mean of the test results.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1)
.
4.6.3. The immersion method
The uniformity of the zinc coating is controlled by immersion of the sample of galvanized wire in a solution of copper sulfate prepared by dissolving the same mass of a dry crystal of copper sulphate according to GOST 19347 five mass parts of distilled water. The solution is neutralized with an excess of freshly precipitated hydrate of copper oxide and filtered. The density of the filtered neutralized solution should be to 1,114 1,116 g/cm. The temperature of the copper sulphate solution during the test must be (18±2) °C.
The test procedure:
samples of the wire length of 150 mm was washed and degreased in alcohol, benzene, or ether. If the samples are washed with petrol or benzene, we carried out additional washing with distilled water and wipe to remove moisture;
immerse the samples in a solution of copper sulphate to a depth of not less than 100 mm. Samples of wire shall be in solution in stationary position, not in contact with each other and with the walls of the vessel. The same solution of copper sulphate with a volume of 200 cmcan be used for testing specimens of the same diameter, the number of which depending on the wire diameter shown in table.7, after which the solution should be replaced.

After immersion in the solution, samples were washed with distilled water. Samples considered satisfactory if, after the dive on the surface has no areas with the removed zinc and coated in copper, not coming down when wiping with cotton wool or a clean cloth. Examine the samples visually.
On the surface of samples allow:
redness of the surface samples in the area, located at a distance of 25 mm from the solution level and at a distance of 20 mm from the immersed in the solution of the lower ends of the samples;
brown color and the redness of point character, disappearing or increasing in size and brightness with additional immersion of the samples in a solution of copper sulfate at 1−2;
