This standard applies to woven wire mesh with square cells from nonferrous metals and their alloys applied to control and division of materials according to particle size, filtration of liquids, gases and other purposes.
1. BASIC PARAMETERS AND DIMENSIONS
1.1. Grid for precision manufacturing is divided into:

The manufacturing accuracy and the applicability of grids are shown in table.1.

1.2. Nominal face size of cells in light, wire diameter, maximum rejections of sizes of cells and diameter of the wire mesh shall be as specified in table.2−4.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1. Mesh shall be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard in accordance with technical documentation approved in the established order.
2.2. For making nets control, high and normal precision numbers 004−016 should be applied to the wire of bronze brand Brof 6,5−0,4 GOST 5017* grids offer 0071−2,5 — wire polutoniko grade L-80 according to GOST 15527**.

Mesh shall be manufactured from annealed wire.

2.3. On the surface of wire should be no traces of broach, cracks, affecting the size of the sides of the cells and captured sunsets and scale.

For mesh twill weave allowed as a duck to use the nearest wire of larger diameter indicated in the table.2, 3 and 4.
2.5. Mesh must not have mechanical damage, breakages of the wires longer than 10 mm, sharp bends, affecting the cell size, sewn seats and green corrosion spots.
2.6. The number and size of weaving defects at every 25 mshould not exceed specified in table.8.

For Nickel grids, the permissible number of weaving defects is increased by 25%.
2.7. The distance between defective areas (such as mechanical damage, breakages of the wire length of more than 10 mm, solestice, areas of the grid, the mismatched table.2−4, 7, 8, etc.) along the length and width of meshes must be not less than:
100 mm for grids of numbers 004−008;
300 mm for grids offer 009−025;
500 mm for grids offer 028−2,5.
The total area of defective areas of nets should not exceed 10% of the total area of the mesh roll.

2.8. In the manufacture of grids for shuttleless mills the ends of the weft wires in the edges need to be trimmed.
3. ACCEPTANCE RULES
3.1. To verify compliance with mesh requirements acceptance testing is executed.
3.2. Mesh show for acceptance by the parties. The party should consist of a grid of one room and material and decorated the same document about quality that contains:
trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;
the symbol grid;
test results (arithmetic mean and maximum sizes of the cells).
the name of the wire material;
wire diameter, mm;
the number of segments of the mesh roll;
the number of meters in each segment or roll;
stamp of technical control;
the date of issue.
3.3. Grid test a continuous control.
3.4. If unsatisfactory validation results of at least one of the indicators corresponding part of the mesh needs to be conditionally excluded from the total square footage of the grid.
4. TEST METHODS
4.1. Tests and measurements should be carried out in normal climate conditions according to GOST 20.57.406.
4.2. Grid check at the control Desk or the test machine when rewinding rolls. Mesh rooms 004−056 check translucence.
4.3. The dimensions of the sides of the cells in light with the maximum deviation needs to be tested in areas with the greatest deviations, but not less than three locations and no closer than 20 mm from the edges.
The dimensions of the sides of the cells in light are measured separately on a basis and a duck:
for meshes offer 004−045 microscope with ocularstream with increasing 50−120with scale interval 0.001 mm;
for meshes offer 05−2,5 — microscope with magnification 24−40with a scale interval of 0,01−0,05 mm.
4.4. The number of cells with the maximum deviations from the nominal size is determined in a 1 DMgrid.
4.5. To determine the average size of the cell in the light, and count the number of cells to a certain length or measure corresponding to a certain number of cells the length of the site.
The test is carried out in areas with the greatest deviations, but not less than three locations and no closer than 20 mm from the edges.
The mean hand size of cells in light () in the warp and in the weft direction is determined by the formula

for meshes offer 0071−014 — 5 mm,
for meshes offer 016−056 — 10 mm;
— the number of cells counted consistently on the site length ,

for meshes offer 063−1:
— the length of the plot on which located 30 sequentially measured in the respective direction of the cells, mm.
— consistently counted the number of cells equal to 30;
— wire diameter, mm;
for meshes offer 1,25−2,5:
— the length of the plot on which located 20 consecutively counted cells, mm.
— consistently counted the number of cells equal to 20;
— wire diameter, mm.
The length of the plot and counting the number of cells measured by microscope:
for meshes offer 004−0063 — when you increase 30−40;
for meshes offer 0071−014 you zoom 24−40;
for meshes offer 0016−0056 — textile magnifying glass at magnification of 7−10according to GOST 25706−83 or other equivalent tool;
for meshes offer 063−2,5 — measuring ruler according to GOST 427 with a scale division of 1 mm.
4.6. The diameter of the wire measured before dressing the loom.
Wire diameter of 0.03−0.10 mm check optimera with scale interval 0.001 mm or other equivalent instrument, with a diameter of 0.11−0.5 mm with micrometer lever-type Mr 25 according to GOST 4381.
4.7. The width of the mesh check in three places, cut the mesh at a distance of not less than 50 mm from the ends and in the middle of the measuring scale with a scale division of 1 mm according to GOST 427.
4.8. The cut length of mesh is measured by the measuring ruler with a scale division of 1 mm in the churchyard 427.
4.9. The surface quality of wire, interlocking wires and the presence of weaving defects checked visually.
4.10. Area defective areas, and the distance between them is measured by the measuring ruler with a scale division of 1 mm according to GOST 427.
4.11. Defective areas of the grid must be marked with a soft pencil. Allowed to mark with a soft pencil weaving defects.
4.12. The correctness of marking and packaging checks visual inspection.
4.13. The gross weight of the box check weighing scales according to GOST 14004 with an error of less than 1%.
5. MARKING, PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
5.1. The grid must be wound with uniform tension rolls of a diameter not more than 190 mm for pipes of aluminum alloys according to GOST 18482, or pipes of other materials not inferior in strength of the aluminum and cause corrosion of the grids according to normative-technical documentation. Allowed grid of rooms, 04−2,5 normal accuracy on the pipe (or rod) is not spooling.
5.2. Length of the mesh roll shall be not less than 3 m. the Coil may consist of several segments of the grid.
5.3. Net roll should be wrapped in paper according to GOST 23436 or double layer of bitumen paper according to GOST 8828 and tied in the middle and at the edges to ensure the safety of the mesh from unwinding.
Bronze mesh is Packed in paraffined paper GOST 9569* and a double layer of bitumen paper according to GOST 8828 and tie in the middle and at the edges.

May be Packed in a different paper, ensuring the safety of the grid, according to normative-technical documentation.
Net roll should be Packed in a wooden box according to GOST 16511 or other wooden boxes according to normative-technical documentation. The coil in the box should be fixed with the help of liners in horizontal position with support points on the protruding ends of the pipe.
Mesh room 04−2,5 normal accuracy is allowed during the transportation of carload shipments and containers: do not pack in boxes.
Customer’s request coil mesh is Packed in plasticized polyvinyl chloride film according to GOST 16272 or other tape, ensuring the safety of the mesh quality according to normative-technical documentation.
5.4. Packaging nets are designed for areas far North and equated localities must be conducted in accordance with the requirements of GOST 15846.
5.5. Weight of package must not exceed 80 kg. Consolidation packages in overpacks shall be conducted in accordance with the requirements of GOST 24597.
5.6. Transport marking under GOST 14192 with the application of manipulation signs «Fragile. Care», «Protect from moisture», «Top».
5.7. Mesh transporterowych all types of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with goods transportation regulations applied to this type of transport.
Mesh transporterowych by rail carload or small shipments. Allowed the transport in containers according to GOST 18477.
5.8. Conditions of transportation and storage of meshes in the impact of climatic factors should correspond to requirements of GOST 15150 group stiffness 6.
5.9. The conditions of storage grids must meet the requirements of GOST 15150 group stiffness 2.
6. MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
6.1. The manufacturer guarantees the conformity of the mesh to the requirements of this standard when complying with the storage conditions.
Warranty period of storage-grid — 6 months from date of manufacture.
