1. This standard applies to steel unequal curved channels, manufactured on roll forming mills of hot rolled carbon ordinary quality, quality carbon structural and low alloy steel.
Indicators of technical level established by this standard are intended for highest and first quality categories.
2. For precision-rolled channels made:
— high precision;
— high accuracy — B;
— normal accuracy — V.
The requirement of high precision and increased grading correspond to the highest category of quality.

3. Cross section of channels should match the number on the drawing.
Refer to the drawing and table.1 and 2:
— the height of the wall;
— greater width of the shelf;
— the width of the smaller shelf;
— width of the channel;
and are the radii of curvature;
is the moment of inertia;
— radius of gyration;
— the moment of resistance;
— distance from center of gravity to the outer face of the large shelves;
— distance from center of gravity to the outer wall faces;
— the angle of the major axis;
— the ratio of the estimated height of the wall to the thickness;
— the ratio of the calculated overhang of the shelf to the greater thickness;
— the ratio of the estimated overhang the smaller shelf to the thickness of
4. The dimensions of channels, the cross-sectional area reference values for the axes and mass of 1 m of the channel should be:
for channels of carbon boiling and semi-killed steel with a temporary tear resistance of not more than 460 N/mm(47 kgf/mm) is indicated in the table.1;
for quiet channels of carbon and low alloy steels with a temporary tear resistance of more than 460 N/mm(47 kgf/mm) is indicated in the table.2.

7. Maximum deviations in thickness angle of channels should correspond to the limit deviations of the thickness of the workpiece width 1000−2000 mm-normal accuracy of rolling B, is given in GOST 19903. It is possible to produce channels of procurement of high precision rolling A.
Maximum deviations in thickness do not apply to places of bending.
8. Extreme deviation from the 90° angle shall not exceed the usual and increased accuracy:
±1° 30' — width with shelves up to 100 mm;
±1° with a shelf width of more than 100 mm;
±1° for high accuracy.
9. Channels in accordance with the order made in length from 4 to 11.8 m:
— the measured length;
— measuring length with non-standard lengths not more than 7% of the batch weight;
— multiple of gauging length;
— multiple gauge length with random lengths of not more than 7% of the batch weight;
— random length.
Random segments consider channels of length less than 3 m.
At the request of the consumer channels produce limited length within off-gage.
10. Limit deviations for channel length and multiple dimensional measuring length shall not exceed:
+40 mm for channel length up to 6 m;
+80 mm for channels with a length of over 6 m.
For profiles of high precision profiling limit deviations should not exceed:
30 mm for profiles up to a length of 6 m and
+5 mm for each meter of channel length over 6 m.

11. Twisting of the channels around the longitudinal axis of conventional and high precision rolling should not exceed the 1° to the length of the channel in meters, but not more than 10°, high accuracy — works of 0,5°, the length of the channel in meters.
12. The curvature of channels in normal and high precision should not exceed 0.1% of the length, high accuracy — 0.05% of the length.
13. Waviness shelves should not exceed 2 mm per 1 m.
The minimum wavelength of 500 mm.
14. Wall height and flange width are controlled in a plane parallel to the wall or the shelf on the distance of the outer radius of curvature .
15. The sizing of the cross section as well as torsion and curvature of the channels in the usual accuracy of rolling is carried out at a distance of 300 mm from the ends, high precision — 200 mm high — 150 mm.
