5 REVISION. October 2012
1 This standard applies to steel bent equal-angle corners, produced on roll-forming units of cold-rolled and hot-rolled sheet products of carbon steel of ordinary quality, high-quality structural and low-alloy.
2 The angles are produced by the accuracy of profiling:
A — high accuracy;
B — increased;
In — the usual.
3 The cross-section of the corners must match the one shown in the figure.
Legend to the picture and tables 1 and 2:
— shelf width;
— thickness of the shelf;
— radius of curvature;
— moment of inertia;
— radius of inertia;
, — the distance from the center of gravity to the outer surfaces of the shelves;
— the ratio of the calculated overhang of the shelf to the thickness of the shelf;
is the cross-sectional area.
4 Dimensions, cross-sectional area, reference values for axles and mass of 1 m corners must correspond to: for corners of carbonaceous boiling and semi-regular steel of ordinary quality, quality steel with a tensile strength of not more than 460 N / mm (47 kgf / mm ) — indicated in Table 1; for corners from carbon semi-quiet and calm steel of ordinary quality, carbon quality steel with a temporary rupture resistance of more than 460 N / mm (47 kgf / mm ) — indicated in Table 2.
