(Changed edition, Rev # 1, 2).
1.8. (Deleted, Rev. N 2).
1.9. The cross-sectional area, mass 1 m and reference values of moments of inertia and resistance are calculated with nominal dimensions. When calculating the mass of 1 m of the profile the density of steel is equal to 7.85 g/cm.
1.10. Hot-rolled profiles manufactured in length from 1.8 m to 10 m, bent — from 4 to 12 m.
1.11. Profiles are made:
the measured length;
multiple of gauging length;
of random length.
By agreement of the parties allowed the production of profiles of limited length within off-gage.
Length of hot-rolled profiles, cut on the presses, is measured without consideration of the crumpled part.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).
1.12. In the manufacture of profiles with variable length permitted residue: not more than 10% of the batch weight.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
1.13. Tolerances for length and multiple lengths shall not exceed:
+40 mm for profiles up to 7 m, +5 mm for each meter in excess of 7 m for the high precision cutting;
+80 mm for profiles with a length over 7 m for conventional accuracy of cutting.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).
2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1. General technical requirements — according to GOST 535−88, GOST 11474−76.
2.2. Profiles shall be made of St3kp steel with the chemical composition and the normalized indices for hot rolled profiles 2 category GOST 535−88, for curved profiles — 4 category GOST 16523−97, 2 category GOST 14637−89.
Can be manufactured in sections from steel of other brands.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 3).
2.3. Twisting of hot-rolled profiles are not allowed.
2.4. Twisting cold-formed sections shall not exceed 1° by 1 m.
The total torsion of cold-formed sections shall not exceed the allowable twisting 1m length of profile in meters, but not more than 10°.
2.5. The curvature profiles at 1 m must not exceed:
2 mm hot rolled;
1 mm — for bent.
2.6. Crimp curved profiles on the edges shall not exceed 2 mm per 1 m.
3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.2. (Deleted, Rev. N 1).
4. TEST METHODS
4.1. Control of the cross-sectional dimensions of hot-rolled profiles are produced at a distance of 300 mm from the ends, roll-formed profiles at a distance of 300 mm with single-piece profiling and 50 mm during continuous profiling.
4.2.-4.6. (Deleted, Rev. N 1).
4.7. The scheme of measurement of height and width profiles are presented on the devil.13.
