EDITION (October 2012) with Changes No. 1, 2 approved in April 1985, December 1988 (IUS 7−85, 3−89).
1. This standard applies to bent corrugated sheet profiles with trapezoidal corrugation, manufactured by roll forming mills of cold rolled and hot rolled steel for shipbuilding.
2. The cross section of the corrugated sheet profiles shall be those specified in the drawing.
Legend:
— profile width;
— flute height;
— thickness profile;
— the distance between the axes of symmetry of the corrugations (pitch of corrugations);
the radius of curvature of the corrugation;
— the distance from the edge profile to the axis of symmetry of the left corrugation;
— the width of the corrugation;
— the width of the corrugation walls;
— cross-sectional area of one corrugation with shelves, equal to half of the linear segments;
is the moment of inertia of one corrugation with shelves, equal to half of the linear segments;
— the moment of resistance of one corrugation with shelves, equal to half the straight sections.
3. Dimensions, cross-sectional area, reference values of moments of inertia and the resistance of one corrugation and weight of 1 m of the profile shall be as specified in table.1.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

Note. The cross-sectional area, reference values of moments of inertia and the resistance of one corrugation and weight of 1 m are calculated with nominal dimensions. When calculating the mass of 1 m of the profile the density of steel is equal to 7.85 g/cm.
4. Precision profiling profiles are produced:
high precision;
conventional precision — V.
Limit deviations of the dimensions of the profiles must not exceed:
width mm, from 1 January 1994 ±5 mm;
height ±1.5 mm — high precision profiling;
±2.0 mm — normal accuracy of profiling.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).
5. Maximum deviations in thickness of cold-rolled sections shall conform to the requirements of GOST 19904−90, hot rolled profiles — GOST 19903−74 according to accuracy class B for strips with a width of 1100−1500 mm. tolerances for thickness of sections shall not extend to the places of bending.
6. Step width and the radius of curvature of the corrugations are controlled by caliber rolls.
7. On the shelves of the profile waviness should not exceed 15 mm per 1 m.
8. Twisting of profiles around the longitudinal axis shall not exceed 1° by 1 m.
The total torsion along the length should not exceed the admissible torsion on 1 m length of profile in meters, but not more than 10°.
9. Transverse beam deflection should not exceed 1.5% of the width.
10. The longitudinal deflection profiles should not exceed 1 mm per 1 m.
The total longitudinal deflection should not exceed the permissible deflection of 1 m on the length of the profile in meters.
11. Profiles are produced in length from 2.5 to 12 m:
the measured length;
multiple of gauging length;
of random length.
At the request of the customer can be manufactured profiles of limited length within off-gage.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 2)
12. Depending on the purpose, the profiles are made:
the measured length;
measuring length with non-standard lengths not more than 10% of the batch weight;
multiple of gauging length;
multiple lengths with random lengths of not more than 10% of the batch weight;
of random length.
At the request of the customer can be manufactured profiles of limited length within off-gage.
Note. Random segments are sections with length not shorter than 2.5 m.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
13. (Deleted, Rev. N 1).
14. Maximum deviations along the length of the profiles dimensional and multiple lengths shall not exceed that specified in table.2.

15. Sizing, longitudinal and transverse bending, and twisting is carried out at a distance of not less than 300 mm from the ends of the profiles.
16. The size of the profiles which do not have a limit deviation, determined in the rolls when they are boring.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
