1. This standard applies to hot-rolled steel I-beams with parallel flanges height from 100 mm to 1000 mm and the width of the shelves from 55 to 400 mm.
2. The ratio of the size and conditions of application of beams are divided into types:
B — normal beams;
Sh — h-beams;
To — column beams.
3. Cross section I-beams must match what is specified on the devil.1.

Note. In coordination with the consumer the curvature of the profile in the vertical and horizontal planes shall not exceed 0,001for 310 mm.
6. Beams in accordance with the order made in length from 6 to 24 m:
the measured length;
measuring length to the segment;
multiple of gauging length;
multiple of gauging length with the cut;
of random length.
6.1. Cut are considered to be beams with a length of not less than:
3 m — for sizes of sections with a linear density of 20 kg/m;
4 m — for sizes of sections with linear densities of 20 kg/m.
6.2. The I-beams to length with the cut and multiple lengths with the cut segments are allowed in the amount of:
up to 5% of the batch weight for the sizes of sections with a linear density of 20 kg/m;
up to 8% of the batch weight for the sizes of sections with a linear density of more than 20 to 50 kg/m;
up to 12% of the batch weight for the sizes of sections with linear densities of over 50 to 150 kg/m;
up to 20% of the batch weight for the sizes of sections with a linear density of more than 150 kg/m.
6.3. It is possible to manufacture I-beams of limited length within off-gage.
7. Maximum deviations along the length of the profiles dimensional and multiple lengths shall not exceed the values given in table.3.

8. Cut end Squareness, mm should take the length of the I-beams limit deflection to length.
As the length of the I-beam is defined as the maximum length of the I-beam is conventionally cut with the ends perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
9. The surface of the blunting of the corners of the shelves should be convex without ledges. The radius of the blunting is not more than 0.2 but not more than 3 mm.
10. Dimension check is carried out at a minimum distance of 500 mm from the end of the profile.
The height profile is measured along the axis .
